Gelato was full of the star jam, since it takes a bit to dissolve it. it messed with their coloring a bit, but it was similar enough. Gelato looks up out of the jar, excited.
Gelato was now half-asleep on Elder Faerie, gently tugging at Elder Faerie's hair, as they were eating the dirt and bad stuff off of it, dissolving it into energy for their small form. They were also being careful not to straight up dissolve Elder Faerie's hair.
The two reach the next town just as dusk is falling, orange and pink streaked across the sky by the setting sun - though it can't be seen through the foliage.
Sugarcrest was a smaller settlement at first glance, mainly consisting of a main street, town square, and not much else... until you looked up. Strung among the tree canopy were hundreds of small railed platforms, platforms to take off from - or pulley systems for those who were weighed down - and homes carved into tree hollows.
It was, in all actuality, second in size only to Faeriewood.
"Alright," Elder Faerie mumbles to himself, walking down the main street while trying to avoid detection.
Usually, Sugarcrest was bustling with activity, trade, and voices calling out special prices for this or that. But the air had changed; instead of its usual cheer, it was filled with doubt, fear, and resentment.
Parents ushered their children inside. Only a few stalls were open, and movement was scarce in the town's upper levels.
The old Guardian looks down at his hand, allowing a spark of magic to rest under his fingertips before shaking his head and letting it disperse.
It would do no good to exhaust his magic supply. Sugarcrest was too big, and he was simply one cookie.
"Well, Gelato," he says to the slime, poking it awake, "See anything you like?"

Gelato slid onto his shoulder. It slid onto whatever the jars were being held on and attempted to restrain theirself to how they would be shaped inside the jar to test, only able to hold that form for a second or so,but contented.

Smilk sort of barges in wherever BSAP is, wailing and crying, even the hair eyes sad. he sort of rolls in,holding onto BSAP like a little puppy and crying so much the Smilk cant even get a word in.
"Wha... Shadow Milk...?"

Gelato slightly stretched their body up, excited. They've never been to a town before, so this was all new to them. They were also quite confused, since they'd never gone shopping, as they are a slime.

Gelato was quite contented with staying there for the time being. it also helps Gelato feel tall, being on Elder Faerie's head.
the small slime in the bucket wiggled around, upset and wanting to get out. it was quite angry, upset with the poor metal quality too.
Elder Faerie lifts the bucket up to eye level, looking down at the cat in it - who was looking less cat and more slime with every passing moment.
"What's wrong, Gelato? Are you hurt or something?"
...Maybe the bucket was too small?
