So more curl embracing going on her on Debra’s hair. I touched up her “pigmentationaly challenged” hair and dried up with a diffuser to creat this beautiful look for her. She has never had her hair dried curly by a professional and was shocked at how pretty her hair could be curly. I shared some tips and tricks to keep the frizz out and used @ouidad hydrafusion intense curl creme for weight definition and a little help falling into a curl. For years we fought the humid south. And for years, we lost. The frizz won. No matter what I tried or how hard I worked, Lorraine’s hair would literally frizz up right before my eyes in the parking lot heading to the car. Pinch hitting for a stylist friend, this beauty was feeling as “wooly” as a sheep after Covid and and her very pregnant stylist left her temporarily in the lurch.
