And very humble, not egotistical in the slightest, yeah yeah.
Who is your favorite camper from Camp Empires?
(and does it happen to be a certain son a Venus with teal hair? ...no reason)
No, Scott, it's not you -_-
I don't really.... interact with the CE people much? I get really bad headaches anytime I step foot in the Roman Camp for some reason.. maybe I'm allergic to a plant they use for decoration.
If I had to choose one,,,, hm. Probably fWhip? We haven't spoken much but he's always felt like a brother to me..

OOC NOTICE
Hello everyone! From now until the 30th of December, asks on all of my blogs will be temporarily disabled. This is because there have been rumours going around of people planning on sending images of child gore to ask blogs on the 25th. Although I don't expect this to affect the mcyt space, and certainly not hato, I'm still doing this just as a precaution. My mental health is already very fragile as some of you are aware, so I am going to take this step just in case it touches us.
Blogs affected (both HatO and not) under the cut, if you want to see
@gem-the-oracle (you are here!)
@ask-the-puppeteer (HatO Circe)
@follower-of-spit (my own HatOC)
@ask-mtr-shelby (college AU Shubble)
@fwhipunderthefloorboards (empires s2 rp)
@shelby-shubble-fanblog (fanblog for shubble)
and my main, @ravenlikesbooks (they might be off already, I don't remember haha)
there might be others I've missed, I have a lot of blogs. apologies for the inconvenience

"It's not- It's not flashbacks. It can't be flashbacks, this never happened."
At that moment, a brown-haired figure walked in the door.
'Sausage, please!' Gem pleaded. Sausage looked bored as he raised his knife. Gem wasn't sure which would hurt more, Sausage being affected but enjoying it, or acting as if this was a mere annoyance. 'It's nothing personal,' Sausage said, tone neutral. The knife came down quickly, going directly into her heart. He pulled it out, wiped off the blood, and walked away calmly. 'Goodbye, Gemini Tay'
Gem let out a quiet gasp as her eyes rolled back and she fell unconscious.

Oli groggily sits up, eyes widening. He made it back. He was here. In Camp Empires. With his memories. His memories. But without his soul.
“Is- is anyone there?!” He shouts, hoping someone is near enough to hear him. But oh, the irony isn’t lost on him. This is almost exactly how his first coming to camp went. His voice sounds the same. He’s honestly surprised he isn’t soaking wet, wearing a ruined Hawaiian shirt.

"That's a bit. Concerning." Red eyes flash at her, fear pins her in place. 'Sausage?' she breaths. The man soldier boy she used to call a brother stares back at her, cold and uncaring.

"I suppose." Gem's head was hurting again. Not that it had stopped, but it was getting worse now. "But what if something really bad happened during the year you don't remember?"

"Fine, fine. GAH-" 'Please, Mother. Lord Jupiter. Lady Diana. Any god who hears me. Please send someone to save my family from this fate they have been condemned to.' Gem stood on shaky legs as she finished her prayer. 'Gem!' fWhip called. 'You're gonna be late for the meeting!' 'Coming!' "So... if that's Xornoth... how is he back? And where is he?"

"....he didn't look like what you guys descr- OW!" 'time is up, Trivia child' Xornoth grinned, stalking closer. Gem tried desperately to scoot backwards from where she was on the ground, but the movement pulled on her injuries and she dropped. 'You'll no longer be in pain very soon.' "Sorry. He said his name was Steve."

"No, no I'm-" she hissed in pain but continued. "I'm fine. How are you? You lost your soul! How are you back?!"

Gem flinched at the blinding head pain as a loud voice cried out next to her. She forced her eyes open and through the pain saw a blurry blonde figure.
Her memories of the past day came back in a rush, and she sat up straight, ignoring the painful jolt it caused.
"Oli!"

Gem sucked in a sharp breath. Her head was hurting severely now, and her vision began to swim slightly.
"Oli? I'm not- I'm not a demigod. Remember?" She laughed nervously through the mounting pain and panic she could not identify the source of. "Just your favourite Oracle of Delphi! Haha..."
Her legs were shaking with exertion
Oli sat on his knees in front of the lethe, searching. Searching for his memories. The river Lethe took memories, so maybe it had his? He sits there for an hour, and then two. He sighs, and moves to get up. But, before he could- two pearls rise from the surface of the water. Glimpses of his real memories float through him, as a voice speaks in his mind. “Oh, poor sun child, so far from home. It’s so very sad.” The voice of the Lethe spoke, “so, sun child, here are two pearls. They contain your memories, yet they offer a choice. If you and your friend crush these underfoot, you will transport to where you wish. But, if you crush up these pearls, pour them in my waters, and drink, you will regain your memories. Make your choice, sun child. I wish you well.” He stared at the pearls. Memories floated through, blurry moments of who he once was, of who his friends were. Shelby. She was a daughter of… Trivia. He remembered now. But he couldn’t do that to Xornoth. “ @hatos-underworld-demon , I found a way out!”

A mortal.... Manipulated by a goddess.... That died...
The thought was familiar, a tingling sensation in Gem's mind that would not go away, but she couldn't place her finger on it.
"Sounds like you've got yourself in quite the pickle then!" Gem reached over and pulled a pickle jar out of her bag, trying for a joke.

Gem hummed. This "Steve" guy was definitely hiding something. The headache from earlier came back, stronger this time. Oli let out a small groan and she pulled herself back to the present.
"..Sure. Look, let's save the pleasantries for after we get Oli some help. All I need to know is how mortal are you?"
