Mythology aesthetic: Apollo & Artemis
Artemis and Apollo remained close to each other forever. Both siblings would become associated with the skill of archery, and they enjoyed hunting together. In addition, both had the power to send plagues upon mortals.

❝What has you in such a ridiculously pleasant mood today? And please don’t tell it’s because you’ve been plucking away at the little toy of yours,❞ Hera spoke as she came upon Apollo. ❝And if that is the case, then, must I really inform you that it is not appropriate to do so in the gardens?❞ No, she wasn’t referring to the musical instrument he had created so long ago.

He flashed her a gracious enough smile, only the barest hint of sarcasm at the curled edge of his lips. ❝Ahh yes. I had quite forgotten what pleasure your presence brings, Hera.❞ Apollo could see her better now and he watched carefully as she moved through the flowers. ❝It’s a wonder how my father parts from it so willingly.❞

ARTEMIS — goddess of the Hunt, Forests and Hills, the Moon and Archery.
I sing of Art ARTEMIS — goddess of the Hunt, Forests and Hills, the Moon and Archery emis, whose shafts are of gold, who cheers on the hounds, the pure maiden, shooter of stags, who delights in archery, own sister to Apollo with the golden sword. x

Greek Mythology Aesthetics: Leto (for @cutestforlife)
Leto is one of the female Titanes, a bride of Zeus, and the mother of the twin gods Apollon and Artemis. She is the goddess of motherhood and with her children, a protectress of the young. Her name and iconography suggest she is also a goddess of modesty and womanly demure. Like her sister Asteria she may also be a goddess of the night, or alternatively of the light of day.the

modern mythology aesthetics: apollo
« he was the kind of guy you would see lingering in coffee shops, observing the people around him, consuming the life in the noisy atmosphere. he would greet you with his beautiful s u n k i s s e d skin and warm peach lips, full of youth and energy. he was the type that would ramble on about his adventures, carefree and vibrant. even with his calm personality, you could tell there was a glow to him, a neverending internal spark.  »

A smirk played at the corners of his finely shaped mouth, giving it an almost feline quality as he tilted his head. Apollo looked from hair to toes swiftly, catching all the details of Persephone. Abundance of beautifully tended wisps of hair, sylph styled dress that moved around her as if made of air. It made for a pretty picture among the promiscuous chaos that surrounded them. His own sharply pointed mask was as dark as pitch, blue eyes alight behind the razor edged lines that lent themselves to likeness of a crow. The irony of a sun god hidden behind a jet facade that was lost in all the splendor of gold touched masks. The significance was intentional and went unnoticed as no one had called him by his real identity yet.
The wine made him languorous, lending an extra note of fluidity to his own natural grace as he moved forward, dogging her steps but not impeding her path. A light scent of flowers in their first bloom drifted from the folds of her gown, leaving trails of freshness among the sour smell of spilled wine and the press of lustful bodies. It was much more pleasant to stay within her sight than risk being caught out by so many caught in Dionysus's grasp.
" What do things become, sweet Persephone? You speak of these ripened pursuits but cannot name them. I wonder is that from willful ignorance of things untasted or a sheltered existence behind Demeter's skirts? I have so wondered that for ages. "

Olympus, her home for many eras, and even more as she grew and aged, into the young goddess she was today. She wasn’t sure what it was her father had done but these events were common in recent days. The war among mortals had dwindled so, even Aries appeared to be in such a state of calm, it was nearly unnerving to her. Her mother constantly warning her to be ware of the others, for these sort of things bring with it much more than just wine, but trickery as well. She wished not for her precious Persphone to be fooled into the arms of a god with nothing but lust on his mind.
She drank the sweetest wine from a chalice, watched as Hera whispered things to her father, and watched as her mother spoke to Hermes. Growing up she often played with her father’s other daughters which she had no hatred towards any, and never has there been a time when she felt the need to dislike any of the other Olympians, even as her mother pointed out their trickery on nights such as this.
Persephone however had not considered how it would be if she over drank her wine and so carefully she sipped from the chalice. Perhaps she should join the others in their dancing but even she realized what took place once they were through–claiming lovers for the night–she wished no part in such activites and planned to leave before she found herself in a position she could not get out of.
Placing the golden chalince on one of the large tables she wwalked with grace passed those sitting until she heard her name and what was spoken, she turned eying the god that had spoken and simply set her brow.
"You speak of carelessness as if I have done something wrong…               If you will excuse me. I plan on leaving before things become-               as they always do at these things.“

Twilight was settling into the woods around her, turning the emerald leaves to jet in the waning light. The animals that kept her company in the daylight hours were quickly darting off to their darkened dens. Other beasts, the more dangerous kind that made up mortal children's stories were beginning to stir, stretch their claws and hunt. Leaves were being shuffled under paws as Artemis wandered, bow in hand and golden shafts slung over hershoulder. There was the sound of gentle steps, too gentle to be one of her companions and too loud to be a predator. Suspicion had her golden brow arching as she noticed the lone willowy figure in her woods.
" I would not have thought to see Demeter's daughter                                  venture so far from her sight. "
