Hey everyone,

I have a bit of a disappointing update; I’m going to be stepping back from commissions and creative stuff for a little while. I only just got started, and it’s honestly so so frustrating and disappointing that I haven’t been able to properly get going the way I hoped. I was so excited to open things up, but life had other ideas.

Between clearing out my grandparents house in earnest and things around housing being really uncertain and demanding, I just can't manage. There's literally just so much I have to sort through right now, and I don’t have the spoons or mental capacity to do both that and this.

That said, the housing situation should hopefully be sorted in the next few weeks, so I’m hoping this break won’t be too long. I still really want to be doing this, just… not in the middle of this particular chaos.

Thank you so much to everyone who’s supported me so far! I’ll still be around a bit with some likes and maybe some reblogs of neat stuff I see. And once things calm down, I’ll be back with that same excited energy I started with!

my bf: how has your day gone?

me, internally: the feel like i've been able to just exist for the first time in almost a year. i've walked around the house vocal stimming. i left a plate on the table while i went to shower promising to sort it out later and when i did get to it it didn't feel like a chore. i took my time in the shower because i wasn't worrying about who was waiting. i was able to pee without worrying who might walk in by accident because i do not trust that lock. if i ever have a moment where i don't want to be on this earth again, ill think about times like today and what my life could be just pottering about in my own home. it's on a par with that time when i was putting washing on the line and you were tinkering with your bike, both of us domestic and content.

just a quick post to say thank you and i'm sorry to anyone waiting on me in any way. i've had a few bad mh weeks that culminated in a few extremely bad days.

part of me was genuinely considering taking myself up to a&e at the peak, but there are aspects that have me seriously wondering if i have pmdd... so that's fun.

GOOD NEWS!! today i've been able to make my first housing bids, so we are well and truly on the way!

Less good news... sorting out my grandparents house has kicked into high gear and since it's just me and my partner it's hard going. i've also been given some new sleeping tablets that might knock me for the first few days.

i keep saying it and i will keep saying it because i am grateful; thank you for bearing with me. hopefully as i settle into a routine i can speed up, more so once the house is packed up and on the market.

What's to process of commissioning you? Do you reach out after a form is sent?

Hi Anon, sorry for the delay. I had to take a couple of days for my physical health. Fibro fog is no joke and I wanted to answer when my head was right.

But essentially yes! When I'm accepting commissions, I'll have a notice saying how many slots are open and a link to my form. When I'm not accepting, the link will be removed and my form will be closed temporarily. My form has a section asking how you'd like to be contacted.

If I feel uncomfortable accepting -this will basically only happen if I am extremely unfamiliar with the character/fandom and feel like I can't do it justice- then I'll message through the same channels as soon as possible.

This is definitely something I want to streamline, maybe add a little step-by-step on my carrd. I have a lot of polishing to do and I hope you can bear with me while I get myself settled into rhythms that work best. Thank you to everyone who's dealt with my teething problems and anyone who hangs around while I work things out ♥

PayPal's fees are also biting more than I'd allowed for in my prices as they are. ✦ My carrd and form don't line up very well as things stand. I want to clarify what I offer and prices. ✦ Please bear with me, I'm still in the teething problems period. I'll be working on making things clearer to benefit both ends and tightening up my process. ✦ Quotes for the commissions I have accepted will be based on my previous prices.
