Amosites serve a scouts in gem society.  They can be compared to Rubies with not only being around the same size but also the same role.  Because of how rare these gems are though that they were never widely produce for this purpose.

This Amosite (Facet 3, Cut 6XE) was made of Earth and created to serve under Pink Diamond.  This never came to be and was resigned under Yellow Diamond which also never happened.  A series of events would ultimately land this gem stranded on Earth with others from her group.  In recent times this gem has taken their new freedom to explore the planet and watch the inhabitants.  She usually is found accompanying Tremolite and Actinolite.

A theoretical pink tourmaline crystal gem regen. Of course, she would never join the crystal gems but she doesn’t dislike them.

Tremolites are similar to Amosites, they serve as scouts also due to their small size but ability to serving that role.  Much like gems that fall into her class, they are very rare seen in society.

This Tremolite (Facet 3, Cut 6XF) was made of Earth to serve under Pink Diamond.  This of course never happened along with her being resigned under Blue Diamond which never occurred.  A series of events would land this gem stranded on Earth with her fellow gems.   In the present, Tremolite spends a lot of her time with Amosite and Actinolite, enjoying what the planet has to offer and watching the inhabitants.

Hiddenites roles in gem society are as mentors to other gems in various different ways.  They are used in the Kindergartens where confused gems emerge and need guidance to what their role is in society.  They also can be seen in the general public also serving their role.

This Hiddenite (Facet 6J, Cut 2XZ) was made on Homeworld but was one of the last of her kind made on Homeworld and forgotten.  She eventually was discovered by a search group and soon was whisked into her role of a mentor.  After a series of success she would soon fall into a special project of overseeing the asbestos gems that were to be made on Earth.  This went well up until the war broke out and the gems she looked after soon began to slip in worries and despair.  She did everything in her power to soothe the gems and calm their worries…but was met with failure.  

One lashed out and rebelled, leaving Hiddenite to lie to about shattering her.  This followed up with her and the other gems were thrown in to fighting a battle they were not meant for.  The final breaking point came when the very gem that lashed out at her, stranded them on Earth.  Hiddenite lost who she was by then and slipped into a malicious and unforgiving gem, determine to right a wrong no matter what.

In the present, her manipulative ways have bitten her as the gems she watched over left her once and for all, only to leave her alone and forgotten much like her own home did.  Now in a dangerous rage she is out to destroy gems to quench her rage.  But when her rage is gone… what will happen? (Of course have to tag the wonderful @crimpeeeko, she came up with all the designs and a lot of what makes Hiddenite who she is!)

I wanted to do something special for Gemsona Week, but other projects got in the way and I finished these guys up really late. Some of my oldest followers might remember these faces! I decided to make gem versions out of my characters, particularly my favorite ones. Also I wanted to update core parts of their design.
