THANK YOU?? LIKE LUCRETIA? I DEFINITELY RECKON SHE WOULD BE AMAZING
okay i’m sorry but why the fuck no one ever talks about lucretia black??? like she married into the prewett family, a well respected pureblood family of which we know nothing about except for fabian and gideon involvement in the order and molly marrying into a well known blood traitor family: the weasleys.
at which point in history the prewett turned blood traitors too???
like was she rebelling because they were already consider that and she loved ignatius anyway? was an arranged marriage?? did her family turn her back on her immediately? during the war? like what happened???? and how did it shape orion’s views on the world, marriage and what he wanted for himself? and the rest of her cousins? she wasn’t erased from the family tree SO WHAT THE FUCK HAPPENED? 🙃

Ok, hold on. I love this headcanon because this disease is also autosomal dominant, which means you can inherit it from only one parent. Although, this is more common in women but I LOVE THE IDEA THAT HE INHERITED THIS GENE FROM MELANIA.
Cause it could've been suppressed in Melania's genes, but by a rare chance Orion getting it is very interesting.
Walburga was hydrophobic all her life, avoiding water at all costs. The fear stemmed from the punishment she had endured as a child—a cruel method her parents used to instill discipline. When she misbehaved, Pollux would submerge Walburga’s head in a tub of cold water, holding her there until her struggles against Pollux’s forceful grasp ceased and she blacked out from lack of oxygen.
When Marius was disowned by his family, his uncle Phineas, who had long been estranged from the Blacks for his support of Muggle rights, stepped in and adopted him. Phineas provided Marius with a refuge from the oppressive expectations of his lineage, offering him a chance to live his life unshackled by the burden of his family’s traditions.
Orion had acute intermittent porphyria, which causes paranoia as a potential psychiatric manifestation, with symptoms including altered consciousness, confusion, hallucinations, and paranoid features during an acute episode; meaning someone with porphyria may experience paranoia as a symptom when having an attack.

Imogen Poots as Druella Justinia Rosier (16 June 1930 - 26 June 1985), daughter of Marcellus Rosier and Justinia Rookwood, younger sister to Venatius Rosier and Licinia "Bean" Rosier.
She had never maintained a close relationship with her eldest sibling. It could precisely be described as cordial for public sake. Although she would grow slightly protective of her older sister “Bean” after Bean was attacked during a raid by Aurors. Druella and Sabiné maintain an awkward but friendly relationship up to Druella’s death.
Druella's elder brother, Venatius, always distanced himself from the riff-raff of muggles. In contrast, Druella enjoyed winning their affection with her warm and cheerful demeanor. She honed her ability to charm children, shopkeepers, neighbors, and her parents and relatives.
Druella recognized the value of being well-liked and cleverly leveraged this to earn favors that would allow her to indulge herself. During her Hogwarts years, she would find herself getting acquainted with multiple relatives or sisters of acolytes in the Knights of Walpurgis. She even attended meetings with them, where she met her future betrothed, Cygnus Black III, and developed a strange fondness for him as a friend, in her third year.
Her heart, however, remained with the charming and devious Malfoy heir, Abraxas. Abraxas and Druella were told to be, quoting in modern terms, “THE couple.” Their looks of genuine love and care were considered a precedent for future Hogwarts sweethearts. Many girls were certainly jealous of Druella, and tried worsening the rumours that the Rosiers were still bootlickers of Grindelwald, but Abraxas strongly defended Druella every time.
Cygnus was indeed incredibly jealous of the couple, but could only watch in misery as the mistress of his heart belonged to another.
The week before their Hogwarts graduation was the most surprising event of all. Abraxas announced his betrothal to Anastasia Delacroix, a Beauxbatons pure-blood who had transferred into Hogwarts during her seventh year. This was a heavy blow to Druella, for she always assumed her charm and warm demeanour had certainly softened Abraxas. She’d never admit but she had grown to be attached to the heir, and considered this an act of betrayal. I have loved him for longer than I could expect. How could she just come in and charm like he was spineless?
Cygnus grabbed this exact opportunity, proposing a marriage contract to Marcellus Rosier that summer. Marcellus saw the opportunity to connect with the Blacks and possibly improve the lackluster reputation of the family. They would marry on 17 June 1950, the same year Cygnus’s older sister Walburga married her cousin, Orion.
Their marriage was all affection, genuineness, and peace at first, yet Druella would often find her chest still aching from Abraxas’s betrayal, yet longing for the man.
#the ladies of walpurgis.#does that sound like a cool name?#idk really#druella justinia rosier.#druella black later.#yes i like abraella a lot.

Horatio Crouch played by Ian Somerhalder.
Grandson of Caspar Crouch and Charis Black through their daughter, Lynara.
Lynara Crouch (1941) was the famed mistress of Faustus Lestrange before he had to marry a Swedish witch Etelka Krauss. She found herself pregnant with Horatio (1961), wanting to raise him by her own yet not wanting to cause future harm to her family.
He got sorted into Ravenclaw House on 1 September 1972 along with his cousin, Bartemius Crouch Jr.
His wand was 12½, Apple wood, Dragon Heartstring core, brittle flexibility.
Horatio was deeply inspired by his uncle, Barty Crouch Sr yet often found himself at odds whether he actually wanted to join the ministry or not. Had a rather conflicted, mostly neutral view on blood-purity.
He had a crush on a certain Emmeline Vance who was a year above him, yet the love remained unrequited. Was a good friend of Amelia Bones, and often visited the Bones family estate whenever he could.
At the time of him graduating, the political fabric in Wizarding Britain was unstable, with rumours of Death-eaters massacring innocent people, many wixen going missing, political propogandas, chaos in the Ministry, families being eliminated.
It was also the same year Horatio's classmate, Regulus Black had gone missing. Many assumed him to be dead, which led Horatio to believe the same. It was indeed a shock for him since they were only seventeen at that time.
It was the death of Regulus's father, Orion in August of that same year that set things into motion for Horatio.
