First of all, congratulations, you are truly an artist. If I had to compare your art, I would do it with Mauricio Anton, Rextooth, IsaacOWJ and other famous paleo artists. Also, you have highlighted a saber-toothed feline other than the smilodon and I say congratulations, I even think it is the only comic about a prehistoric animal centered on the homotherium.

Otherwise here is my question, because of your talent, do you plan to produce one or more comics on this theme in the near future that you will sell as Rextooth?

Whoa! High praise indeed! I certainly wouldn't put my art as anywhere near the same caliber as Mauricio Antón but I appreciate the comparison all the same!

As for publishing Kindred, no, it isn't formatted in any way even close to plausible for print!

I make Kindred for fun, and because Homotherium is one of my favourite animals of all time. As you said, I think I'm the first to include it as a main part of any webcomic, and that's neat!

But if I try to monetize Kindred and comic-making, it will start being another job. Right now I like that there is no reason I can't take a break 'just because'.

As mentioned in my pinned post, I have concentration as fickle as the wind and I don't know if/when this hyperfocus will burn out. Maybe it won't and I will actually finish a project for the first time in my life! I hope so! But I am not willing to bet on it c':

Being 100% honest I thought Saiki was always telling the truth when he would tell them to go away and stuff. I primarily rely on tone/faces/context to understand when people are being sarcastic or lying lmfaooo. But even with all this in mind, I never thought that Saiki didn’t like his friends like some people say.

Him being annoyed with them, telling them to leave him alone, I understood all of that because I get it. Being overloaded makes me like that too, and that’s what this guy is constantly experiencing. He definitely is a tsundere (saying he straight up doesn’t like his friends) but I think it’s also important to realize that Saiki just has firmer boundaries and a significantly shorter social battery than his very rambunctious friends do. I think people can accept that he is a tsundere, especially because he outright admits it, but they can’t accept the idea of a friend not playing nice when telling them to give him space. And that’s always confused me a lot because do people just?? Brush off their friends when they’re not up to socializing?? Do they just assume they’re not friends anymore?

So it drives me insane when people say he doesn’t like his friends. He does, he fucking adores them. He’s just both very traumatized, very inexperienced when it comes to socializing, and used to his boundaries being ignored. So the way he goes about trying to get space seems like a dick move (because it kind of is), but this doesn’t mean he doesn’t like his friends. He needs them. He looks after all of them. But he also needs his own space, and just doesn’t know how to go about that.

His friends are overly pushy too. I think an important aspect of Saiki’s friendships is that they slowly stop projecting onto him over time, and that he slowly starts to include himself more without having to be chased down. We don’t see the full scope of this transformation, but the seeds are definitely there. Their friendships growing and developing means that they start to understand the Saiki has needs that need to be accommodated for, like needing time to himself. They just have to trust that Saiki genuinely likes them and will seek them out when he’s ready.

And he very much does. Because, again, he adores his friends. He’s definitely a tsundere, definitely an asshole, but this doesn’t mean he doesn’t like his friends.
