A new Mr. Men/Little Miss webseries is coming out on June 6th!

The official Mr. Men Youtube channel has released a teaser for the Mr. Men Little Miss Mini Adventures series, set to premier at June 6th. You'll be able to watch it either on Youtube or Instagram.

I'll be discussing my first impressions below:

I'm honestly pretty excited for this! As someone who's been a fan since March 2021, it's finally great to see a new animated series featuring these little guys.

They're more faithful to the books here than the 2008 Mr. Men Show was. As sad as I am that we won't likely see characters like Miss Calamity or Miss Daredevil again, or that the 2008 redesigns won't be used again, I think this is honestly a fair decision, since people recognize this series through the books more than a single animated adaptation.

I am pretty happy about the animation too. It's a little like season 2 of TMMS, but with the modern aesthetic of the newer books. I'm wondering if they used or recycled any of the assets from TMMS? Probably not, but it would be cool if that were the case. I do wonder how they're going to go about with character voices in this, or if the characters would be voiced at all. I remember from the animated shorts on Instagram that the characters kinda spoke in a pitched up gibberish? But judging from Miss Naughty's laugh in the teaser, I doubt they'll sound like that. However, would they just make random noises throughout the episodes? Would there be a narrator explaining everything? Unsure about how this is gonna go, but we'll just wait and see!

Also, WALTER!!!! THE WORM!!!!! THEY BROUGHT BACK THE WORM!!!! All is well in the world. Thank goodness the worm returns.

All in all, I'm pretty stoked to see what they come up with here! A lot of people are hoping their favorite characters get an episode. Though, there are a lot of characters, and I don't know if they're going to have an episode dedicated to each and every one of them, but I could be wrong! Whoever your favorite may be, I hope they'll get some screentime, even if it's just 2 seconds!

Today is the 4th anniversary of Ducktales' The Last Adventure.

It was an epic story that conclude the amazing trip that Ducktales was.

It also marked the debut of my girls, May and June, and the craziest trip ever.

How it started.

And we will never know, but I like to thing this is how it continues.
