He sort of indicates a slight preference for being drawn without the tubes but stresses that ultimately he's fine with any interpretation and it's artists discretion/ interpretation at the end of the day. :)

Thank you! You are a saint! Yes, this is what I thought he said. I'm pleased that I didn't misremember it. I understand that representation is important, but above else, I believe that Scar's opinion is the only relevant one to the subject at hand. If he says that he is fine with any interpretation, then to argue otherwise is more disrespectful than anything you are trying to prevent. (^ Not targeted at you, anon! Just a general statement.)

Please correct me if I am wrong. Hasn't Scar said that he (personally) prefers being drawn without? And that he doesn't mind, either which way? Perhaps my source is outdated, because I'm working off of a memory of a clip from 2 years ago, but in my opinion, it is more disrespectful to speak on his behalf. I find it extremely disrespectful when people draw/write goodtimeswithscar without his disability. "But it's the character not the creator" yeah right. If you can't find a creative way to include his disability I think that says more about you honestly.
