Pagan Origin of Mothers Day

Mother’s Day dates back to ancient cultures in Greece and Rome. In both cultures, mother goddesses (Queen of Heaven). were worshipped during the springtime with religious festivals. The ancient Greeks paid tribute to the powerful goddess Rhea, the wife of Cronus, known as the Mother of the Gods (Queen of Heaven). Similarly, evidence of a three-day Roman festival in Mid-March called Hilaria, to honor the Roman goddess Magna Mater, or Great Mother, dates back to 250 BCE. As Christianity spread throughout Europe, the celebration of the “Mother Church” replaced the pagan tradition of honoring mythological goddesses. The fourth Sunday in Lent (Weeping for Tammuz), a 40-day fasting period before Easter, became known as Mothering Sunday. To show appreciation for their mothers, they often brought gifts or a “mothering cake” (Jeremiah 7:18) and over time, it began to coincide with the celebration of the Mother Church. Mother’s Day always falls on the second Sun-day of May, and like so many other holidays rooted in pagan sun-worship including Father’s Day which always falls on the third Sun-day of June, usually fall on the day named in honor of their most powerful god – The Sun!

See Israel this is why you can’t be participating in the things of the heathen, because you got to remember they weren’t given the laws and Holy days, we were. So whatever the other nations are in or celebrating will always stem back to some false pagan deities(Idols). Ya’ll need to come out and be separate. The Most High YAH gave us laws, statutes, commandments, and Holy Days. If you think about it Mother’s day its really stupid. Think about it, 364 days I give my mother pure hell and evil, then on this one day I want to do my Mother “good”. First off the Lord told us as Israelites we need to honor our parents everyday 24/7 as said in this scripture, “Exodus 20:12 Honour thy father and thy mother: that thy days may be long upon the land which the Lord thy God giveth thee”. So Mother’s Day is just hypocrisy in itself. Brothers and Sisters fear God and keep his commandments, because believe me it’s going to be hell to pay if you participate in these idolatrous pagan rituals.

Villagers form human shield to protect lost panda A wild giant panda lost its way and wandered into a village in Liangshan Yi Autonomous Prefecture in Sichuan Province on Friday, but luckily it ran into some kind-hearted villagers. Out of fear that the panda would be frightened by the dozens of dogs in the village, the villagers formed a human shield in front of the panda for hours until the authorities arrived at the place. After making sure it was healthy, the female panda, which weighed around 100 kilograms, was released back into the wild later that day.
