i used to cook for publix aprons when i worked for publix, and i can safely say that all the publix aprons simple meals have reasonably accurate prep time (since i had to be able to prepare a certain number of sample meals in my 8 hour shift -- if the prep time was, say, 20 minutes, i would make 6 meals a day, scaling up to the longest i ever made, 2 1/2 hours, 2 meals -- and 3 to 4 days out of the week).

if you live in the US (or have a VPN) you can access all the publix aprons meals on their website, there's about 1500 of them last i looked. i know about a few of them and can make recommendations on adjustments and what worked/didn't work, because of how many times i'd have to make them. i would always tell my customers said adjustments too.

the other great thing is, the aprons meals of the week is designed to work in cohesion with what publix has on sale, so if you live in one of the eight US states with a publix in it, go for the aprons meal! it's almost always good. and you're free to dm me anytime with a specific recipe and i can tell you about it if i've made it.

my favorites:

spicy sweet shrimp panzanella strawberry white chocolate bread pudding japanese style curry beef stew creamy marsala rosa pork pasta steaks and orange relish (requires kind of a lot of prep but it's so worth it)

recipes will be like "prep time: 3 minutes" & the ingredience list is like "2 sweet potatoes peeled & diced" girlie they do not come like that

only issue with this is dark nation's name isn't darkstar (in original jp). darkstar was a change for the localization only, so it wouldn't make sense if they are going with that angle in the original japanese.

NO IDEA why they changed dark nation's name but i will still refer to him as dark nation.

Ha. Refu does have a dark star on his forehead and Darkstar’s gender hasn’t been confirmed. It would be very weird and disturbing if Rufus killed Glenn, took the dog, and gave it to R&D to be turned into a war machine. It would make this whole situation worse.

yo we just got an ffvii short story covering cloud's journey to midgar and it helpfully clarified and canonized a few elements of the SOLDIER exam and what it entails before you fully enlist.

most crucially for me though is they finally stated outright that the mako and jenova cocktail is indeed an injection. which is. surprising that it was never stated until now (og preferred to say that SOLDIER members were showered or bathed in mako).
