This has been on my mind for long but I’m gonna do this - please reblog this if you’re comfortable with pre-establishing relationships. a pause as he took in the question. was it awful per say? to some people it would be awful that the other was enjoying, yet to other’s it wouldn’t be so awful in their minds. but the question directed at himself and no one else, since it was only the two of them. bringing his hand up to his face and resting it against his chin, mulling over the question repeatedly in his mind like clockwork; gaze casting towards the ground. 

gears rotating in his mind like a clock, focusing on his own thoughts and keeping silent; unaware of the air that had settled in the air between the two of them. sure beating up random treasure horders isn’t good, but it isn’t like he can rightfully judge, especially with most things he does when making new expirments.

using the lad desk to catch his sudden, albeit sadly normal, loss of balance. lack of sleep the past few nights and lack of food intake aside from one meal a day. maybe he should’ve take up sucrose on her offer of bringing him some breakfast that morning, especially if aether was coming visit since he was back in mondstadt. 

but who knew, not him that is for sure, it was completely unexpected and so sudden it surprised the alchemist off guard. he liked it when the other visited, always a relaxing and calm aura around him. always but him at ease, like a weight of stress was removed from his own shoulders.

thinking back on it, he did mention that the aether does carries the feeling of stars back to when they first met back on dragonspine. maybe that is why the alchemist always feels at ease.

hearing a very familiar voice of a certain roommate finally his dragged his attention and removed it from the the mobile device that he had been mindless scrolling through varies apps and social media for the past hour and a half. had to keep himself busy and he forgot to pack his sketch book this morning. he agreed to wait for the other today since the two of them had to be on campus, albeit for finals. 

removing himself from the bench where they’d agreed to met at once the other was finally done,  setting the device back on sleep mode before pocketing it back up. throws his back back over his shoulder once again, he gently nudged the other in the side, smile crossing his features. he was proud of the other, very much so.
