He looked away before his own body could give a repeat performance of the last two times he’d found himself thinking of Roque like this in public. He shouldn’t have been thinking of him like this at all.

One time. That was what he’d allowed himself. One time, and things would go back to normal. He would regain control. It wouldn’t happen again.

It couldn’t happen again. Sebas didn’t understand much of what he was feeling these days, but there would be consequences if he didn’t stop this… thing from festering into something worse. That much, he knew.

Mickey had laughed when Ian first brought home baby wipes.

Overpriced bullshit, he thought. Just wipe the kid down with the clean side of the damn diaper and move on. Worked fine back in the day. Who needed fancy lavender-scented ass-napkins?

But then he used one. Just once.

He’d had some... mess on his stomach after things got a little heated, y'know? And he was too lazy to get a towel. So he grabbed one of those stupid wipes.

And damn. That thing worked. Quick, soft, no sticky residue, no weird smell. Just clean. Like... actually clean.

After that, he started using them for everything.

Grease on his hands? Baby wipes.

Shavings from filing off a serial number? Baby wipes.

Ash in the sink, mystery stains on the counter, dog shit on his boot? Blood on the windshield?

Baby. Fucking. Wipes.

He didn’t say anything, of course not.

But secretly, he kept a pack in the bathroom. And one under the kitchen sink. And in the bedside table. Just in case, y'know?
