I thought it would be fun to share some books from my library - photo, art & other. "Walker Evans: A biography" by @BelindaRathbone 1995. I always enjoy reading about creatives of any sort; actors, musicians and obviously visual artists. I thoroughly enjoyed this biography. It has been a while but I have notated all the places I like to revisit in it. Books like these always wind up with Post-it notes, multiple book markers, bent corners or a good use of yellow highlighter. . . There's always writing and commentary about Walker Evans, I just last night listened to @nearesttruth podcast 199 speaking to David Campany about Walker Evans & other topics. For those only interested in the Evans commentary I believe that starts a little past halfway through. For all the rest of us who can't stop thinking about, producing, dreaming, writing, journaling and working on photography related things nearest truth is a recommended deep dive for us. . Not sure if this is still possible, years ago you could buy certain FSA Evans prints through the Library of Congress. I enjoyed shooting candid style weddings for 10 + years and meeting many nice people. If you were one of my clients - Thanks again! 

Over time I definitely burned out on the endless paperwork. I am shocked I did weddings but luckily people wanted to see the story not a lot of posed stuff.

As life would have it, it proved invaluable as I began to do streetphotography.

It can only move to its inner rhythm while we enjoy the capacity to make mental choices. Despite lacking our abilities, it flagrantly displays the fallibility of our will. Like a great spiritual teacher it is always there pointing us toward more mindfulness.
