The Ghosts of Prince Albert or the Fig Jam Smugglers?
Is Prince Albert any fun? Watch the video and see how colorful this sleepy town really is on a Saturday morning. We were just passing through on a big road trip. But we had to meassure the happiness level of this scenic town in the Karoo. We asked very serious questions but nobody took us serious. Questions such as the ghost arguing about sheep prices and the great apricot disaster of 1923. Church bells ringing after you ate your 3rd Koeksister and the like. But nobody took us serious. What do you say, were we unfairly treated? You will have to watch the video to answer this question. Was it a highlight of our trip? Defnitely, Our room was in a building that was 200 years old at Ta' Malas Cottage. That is some serious history right there. We can not recommend this place enough. The outside shower was a treat. We visited Prince Albert after passing over the Swartberg Pass from Oudtshoorn. You have to watch this video also. Join the channel and follow our exciting lives right here.

Whites only town, inside look!
Why did the Afrikaners start this experiment and is it working? Recently Julius Malema marched to have the town closed. What exactly happens at Orania. Follow my video to see how it all works. I was impressed by what I saw. People are super friendly. Clean water. Secure, nobody locks up anything. They have all the services a working town needs. The only complaints were that it is cold in the winter and hot in the summer. People all greet one another. Will I go and stay there? Yes if I can sustain myself. Children walk in the street without the fear of being kidnapped. The town is crime free. Can a black person visst the town, yes they can but I believe they can not settle there. You have to be white and of the Christian religion. They also check your crime records. You also need to prove how you will sustain yourself. We stayed for two nights and would go back for follow up videos. I am having some lagging issues on this PC. I might make smaller videos with no lags. To show better what we saw.

4x4 or not? Swartberg Pass with a 2x4 ‘
The allure of the gravel road that snakes around and through the beauty of the Western Cape hills and valleys has stolen the hearts of many. It is no surprise that it has been listed as a national monument. The epitaph of Thomas Bain, the route is littered with incredible, and sometimes whimsical names such as Small Fountain, Small Stall, White Corner and Devious Corner, which are almost as famous as the route itself. And of course, there is Die Top. The apex of the route. The Swartberg Pass stretches along 27km of untarred road and is considered one of the finest mountain passes in the world. At 23,8 km in length, it will take you approximately an hour to complete this drive, but it will be an hour of unequalled beauty. The dirt road is surprisingly easy to navigate and winds 1583 metres above sea level to the summit in jagged zigzags and sheer drops with breathtaking views as far as the eye can see. From the northern start at the crossing of the Dorpsrivier, the road traverses a short stretch of open plain, but the massive bulk of the looming Swartberg blocks the way ahead, other than a single, narrow gorge through which the road winds. The highest peak visible at this stage is unnamed at 1532m on your left (east), whilst the slightly lower Voetpadsberg on the right (west) tops out at 1402m. A Passage Through Time. The pass is a two-way street, which of course means you can enter from two different points. If you’re approaching from the north, the entrance is about 4km south of the town of Prince Albert. If you’re approaching from the south, you will need to drive north from the town of Oudtshoorn. The roads are extremely well maintained and any vehicle should be able to traverse them. The fynbos is at their best in the winter months, and spring is a harmony of proteas, ericas, restios and pin-cusions.

Gqeberha 10x or explain loadshedding to tourist
A Scrable game gone wrong? **Why Port Elizabeth Was Renamed Gqeberha — And Why Not Everyone Is Happy About It** Port Elizabeth, a beautiful city on the coast of South Africa, is now officially called *Gqeberha* (pronounced “kheh-beh-gah” with a click sound). The name was changed in 2021 by the South African government to reflect the country’s rich African heritage. But not everyone agreed with the change, and it caused a lot of debate across the country. Let’s look at why the name was changed and why some people still prefer the old one. ### Where Did the Name “Gqeberha” Come From? The new name, Gqeberha, comes from the Xhosa language, one of the main languages spoken in the Eastern Cape. It’s the name of a river in the area and also linked to a local township called Walmer, which used to be called Gqeberha by the Xhosa-speaking people. The government said the name change was important because many South African towns and cities still have names from colonial times. “Port Elizabeth” was named after the wife of a British governor in the 1800s. By renaming it Gqeberha, the government hoped to honor local culture and history that existed long before the British arrived. ### Why Some People Don’t Like the New Name Even though the idea was to celebrate African identity, not everyone was happy. Many people felt the name change came as a surprise. They said they weren’t properly asked or included in the decision. Some said the money used for changing road signs and documents could have been better spent on schools, hospitals, or fixing potholes. Others found the new name hard to pronounce, especially those who don’t speak Xhosa. For people who grew up calling it “PE” or “Port Elizabeth,” the change felt strange and sudden. Some businesses were also worried. Port Elizabeth is a name known around the world, especially with tourists. Changing it to Gqeberha meant they had to explain where they were all over again.

Grahamstown, not a happy place? My quest is too find the happiest place on our trip. Bloemfontein, Hogsback, Grahamstown so far. This place does not seem to be that happy at all. It is a stunning town with amazing old buildings. But service delivery seem to be lacking and the few people we spoke to gave a harsh report. Please let me know in the comments what your experience of Grahamstown now called Makana is. Does the name change change the city? Is it necessary to change names. Who does it benefit. Should we not keep our heritage as it is. The video is in two languages. Afrikaans and English. No subtitles this time for the Afrikaans. My apologies.

Hogsback ASMR 31 minutes
Walking the forest of Hogsback is one of the most amazing experiences anyone can undertake. The forest is filled with mushrooms, moss and waterfalls. The sound of water running is everywhere. It is so soothing. Hogsback is a challenge to get to. It was 47 km of terrible roads driving in the night. Is Hogsback worth a visit. Yes. But there is not much to do there if you don't like walking and hiking. It is a very peaceful place. We saw the Cape parrot and heard the Touraco squeaking in the forest. Absolutely magical. This is mostly my own video footage. Give us a thumps up please and subscribe to our channel.

Wat het die boom gesien? Slaap hulle of nie
In the Garden of Gethsemane, there stands an ancient tree. A silent witness to generations of tears, prayers, and whispers of the soul. One night, around 2000 years ago, that tree felt something different— a struggle in the air, a war between light and darkness.
Under its branches, a man was praying. A stone’s throw away, three friends were supposed to keep watch. But sleep overcame them, even as heaven responded to the man’s cries. His sweat fell like blood to the earth, soaking the roots of the old tree.
That night, Satan had asked to sift them like wheat. And as the tree stood in the light of Christ’s presence, it felt the heaviness of darkness pressing on the three sleeping men.
Jesus woke them: "Can’t you stay awake and pray with Me?"
A crowd approached, and Jesus simply said: “I AM.” The soldiers fell to the ground. A kiss from Judas pierced the silence—betrayal in its most intimate form.
Peter, who had promised to protect Jesus, drew his sword, but Jesus healed even the one who came to arrest Him— because everyone that night, even Malchus, was called to witness the supernatural.
Fear scattered the disciples. Peter followed at a distance, only to later deny Jesus three times— as the rooster crowed, his heart broke.
And what about us?
Are we asleep when we’re meant to be awake? Have we, like Judas, let the enemy into our hearts? Have we denied Him with our silence, our compromise, our secret sins?
Eventually, another tree gave its life— to become a cross.
There, Jesus was nailed. Forsaken so we could be forgiven.
Darkness covered the earth. A Roman centurion declared: “Surely, this was the Son of God.” A thief asked: “Lord, remember me…” Jesus replied: “Today, you will be with Me in Paradise.”
What is your choice today? Will you acknowledge Him… or deny Him?

The Surprising Truth About CRYSTALS
A white bird flew out of the mask. This was the start of a search for the power behind the crystals in our shop. What we found blew our mind. Behind every crystals is a demonic spirit who is out to deceive mankind. So is there power behind crystals. For sure. But the source of this power is not from God. We have 30 years of experience dealing with this deception. The video is filled with pictures I took at the Rockshop at Hartbeespoort. The spiritual entity in our shop gave people the energy they were looking for. We see so many people who comes into the shop looking for a crystals for this or for that. And they expect us to know it all. I do not encourage my staff to gain this knowledge because it will spread lies and darkness and allow darker spiritual entities to stay on my property. I want to sleep peacefully at night. Th only knowledge we need is the knowledge gained from a revelation from the Holy Ghost. Deception is so prevalent today and so many people start of with a fascination about crystals and their powers. And there is a lot of knowledge out there to mislead people. God made every mineral for people to enjoy and not to be used to channel dark energies. I invite anybody who wants to engage me in further conversation on this to contact me and I will help you to see the light.

8 out of 10 PAIN, instantly healed
Lorraine could hardly walk and unable to do any homework. Jesus healed her . We give Him all the glory. Pastor Farai and me walk the streets of Sunway and talk to several people. Everybody has a need. Pappi wants to commit suicide and took his solace in the bottle. We encourage him to follow Jesus. We also prayed from Bright from Mzimba in Malawi. They want employment. Life is tough in these townships. We then came across Peter who asked us to pray for his wife who is sick. We enter the gates and find a beautiful middle aged lady who suffers daily because of pain. She has had several operations and needed to go back for another one. The prayer of faith healed her. Contact me if you need prayer for healing.

Amethyst stand, DIY, 5 minutes, done
Welding a simple attractive stand for your large specimens have never been easier. See how I do it in this video. The end result changed an amethyst cluster to an interior decorators item fit for an upmarket home. I take you through the process step by step, I start by welding an upright square bar of 1 cm thick unto a round dome base. The base is usually used as the tops of a round upright poles that you will get at your steel merchant. I then bend a 6 mm rebar and cut it at the right length. I then weld the rebar on the upright square bar about halfway up the metal bar. I then cool down the welded stand and chip off the flux and then paint the stand in a bronze paint. All in all it takes me about 30 minutes. And I have just increased the value of the specimen by double its original value Visit us at The Rockshop at Hartbeespoort. You will not be disappointed. Our address is 74 Scott str, Hartbeespoort, South Africa. You can see our minerals at www.bronnrocks.co.za We have been here for the last 25 years and are well known for our quality beads and findings. We also have a scratch patch on the premises and a coffee corner

Washing and cutting the 500 kg amethyst VLOG
See how the amethyst came out after being boiled in Oxalic acid for a day, before the big rain strikes. We unpack our first drum and we just love the quartz and amethyst that we bought from this trip. But the work is not yet done. They have to be trimmed. Remember that we bought mine run and some that are slightly better. Now we need to trim away the damage. Some pieces will loose half their weight and we will then be left with a fine specimen. We do a bit of unpacking washing and cutting in this video. I get a chance to edit this video while it is raining outside. Let me know in the comments below if you like this style of video. No music or too much talking. Please subscribe to the channel. It helps the algorithm. And like the video also please.

Amazing change, I almost could not believe it
From dirty to clean, watch and believe. I do a test run with oxalic acid and was surprised by this great result. I loaded the pot with the dirtiest quartz I had and cooked the quartz for a couple of hours. I could not wait to open the pot. This is what I saw.
