seeing re-imagining/reinventions of the HH cast has me thinking about the various ways to shift them, and i had an idea of Niffty -- currently Just A Cyclops -- being a potential mix of cat demons that take heavy inspo from her country's myths/folklore..

a number of cat demons have various origins and methods to becoming demons, though their behaviors after achieving demonhood may reflect the types of lives they had living as normal cats. additionally, they're often known for their great shape-shifting abilities, sometimes even learning to speak human languages, learning to dance, and liked bewitching people. some of these cat demons are also known for seeking revenge against cruel humans..

also, seeing Alastor coincidentally have 2 cat Sinners as associates is really funny to me 😂👌

as ungodly of an hour i've stayed up to, i'm thankful that i don't have anywhere to be tomorrow after i get home. on the plus side : lorie's info on her blog is all done, and at the pace i'm currently going at, the blog move should go according to plan !

when i think about it, Overlord!niffty really is just a monster high doll ; surprised they haven't done more cyclopse dolls beyond the one when theres.. what, 3-4 types of catgirls and a number of siblings for some of the cast ? [ looking at you, clawdeen ]

additionally, i feel like with niffty being something of an older-middle child in terms of aging for Overlords in the GSR [ gluttony sub-ring ] she probably would've been one of the few people to hear velvette out on her plan, having been the new kid on the block before and somewhat sympathizing for her in not having her opinions heard before she could truly explain herself.. even if vel is kind of a pill
