Artfight is coming up so i finally forced myself to make a ref for my original warframe that ive been thinking of for ages. This is Eclipse, very much inspired by Narmer deacons, The song peacefield by ghost and just narmer in general. might make a protoframe version of them as well! They're up on my artfight here!

Rogue Redesigns: Part 16/18

Firefly | aka Garfield Lynns 🔥 🪰💨

Coming up on the end of this little series, here we have Firefly: the former pyrotechnic turned pyromaniac ready to watch it all burn. He was definitely one of the harder ones as I didn’t have a clear vibe in mind for what I wanted him to be (and his past designs really gave no real inspo) I ended up going with something very steampunky as a result as that was really the only tone I was able to visualize (which I’ll be first to admit doesn’t fit well with the other designs in my lineup) Another struggle was wanting to make him bug like without coming across too similiarly to Killer Moth (Who I’d like to do eventually) . Color was another difficult aspect. I wanted to lean monochromatic with hints of gold, but couldn’t go too simplistic as theres’s a lot happening in his design I wanted to be careful to differentiate with color choice. I can’t say I’m terribly pleased with how he came out but its the first attempt I’ve ever done drawing the character period and on that aspect I don’t think he’s too bad.

not much yet, no :( Even their artfight profile is quite empty rn, i've been too busy with my batman stuff BUT i do have some basics down, mainly 1999 stuff because i need to remind myself what happened in duviri. also i need to replay new war... maybe i'll post their lore once i've replayed them
