I think Superstore really had potential to be similar to the office in terms of staying power for a workplace comedy, but a lot of the episodes just kinda give up before solving the problem. Even Mateo’s ICE deportation storyline was made to be this big deal through Season 5 and then they wrap up in Season 6 without any real conclusion to the storyline. It’s just really an ongoing issue with the show

i only recently learned what "tma" and "tme" mean and i certainly didnt learn it from tumblr despite seeing those two acronyms thrown around all the time and it might be because they stand for "transmisogyny affected" and "transmisogyny exempt" and that feels absolutely purposeful because people probably realized you sound really fucking shitty if you spell out that someone is "exempt" from experiencing discrimination.

society's transmisogyny affects literally everyone, it isnt a binary system. it just sounds like to me you want the gender binary again without saying it.
