¡Hola!

Bienvenidos a La Ciudad Fácil! La ciudad es muy nueva y bonita. La ciudad es pequeña pero acogedora. La ciudad es muy transitable.

Empezamos el recorrido a pie aqui en la iglesia. La iglesia es el edificio más antiguo de la ciudad. Detras de la iglesia está el hospital. Esa es nuestra próxima ubicación. No tienes dinero? No te preocupes! El banco esta detras del hospital. Al pasar por delante del banco, está la farmacia. A la izquierda de la farmacia está el supermercado. Allí venden alimentos frescos. ¿Tienes hambre? La panaderia esta delante del supermercado. El restaurante también está cerca. El restaurante tiene muy deliciosas comidas. Cerca del restaurante se encuentra la escuela. Terminaremos nuestro recorrido a pie en la escuela.

Gracias por caminar conmigo. Siempre recuerda, en la ciudad facil, el aire es muy fresco. ¡Hay muchos arboles! Ven a visitar la ciudad facil para pasar un rato de relax.

Mi perro se llama Lola. Su cumple es el cinco de Octubre. Ella tiene quatro años. Ella es de Filipinas. [She is a Shih Tzu puppy!]. Vive en la ciudad de Marikina. Lola tiene el pelo liso y blanca. Tiene los ojos negras y pequeños. Lola es baja, joven, y guapa.

Lola lleva un vestido amarilla en la foto. ¡Lola es muy guapa!

Mis mejores amigos son Aira y Lau. Sus cumples de Aira y Lau es el diecinueve de abril y treinta y uno de octubre respectivamente. Mis amigos, Aira y Lau, tienen veinte y veintidos años respectivamente. Mis amigos son Filipinas. Hablan ingles y filipino. Aira y Lau viven en la ciudad de Quezon. Son estudiantes en la Universidad de Filipinas. Aira estudia radiodifusión en comunicacion. Lau estudia investigacion en comunicacion. Aira y Lau son muy amable y lista.

Mis amigos son joven y guapa. Lau tiene el pelo negra. Aira tiene el pelo marrones. Llevan unos vestidos en la foto. Aira lleva un vestido blanca. Lau lleva un vestido negra. Aira y Lau son muy feliz en la foto. Watch out for Entrada 3 [COMING SOON]

Hey Guys! It’s Adi and welcome to Spanish Bread. So today I’ll be answering some questions you guys have sent me via Instagram and I’ll try my best to answer them in Spanish because…why not? I’ll actually answer them in Spanish because for this semester, I’m taking up an elementary course in Spanish so I’m trying to practice in any way possible I thought why not through a Q&A vlog? So, let’s get this Q&A started.

So for our first question — What’s your real name?

So, ¡Hola! Me llamo Adi Carlos. If you’re gonna ask how is it spelled or ¿Cómo se escribe? It’s A-D-I  C-A–R-L-O-S. Adi is my nickname and my real first name is Alasdair. My last name is Carlos. I don’t know why my parents named me Alasdair and neither do they so it’s still a mystery up until this day. But I prefer to be called Adi. My channel name, the one you see “Spanish Bread” is named like that for two reasons: (1) For my love of Spanish bread and (2) because…you know that expression “Get that Bread”? I tried to create my own [version] and make it “Get that Spanish Bread”. I don’t know, it worked well in my mind so I hope you guys get it.

So the next question asks — Hello po. Kailan po birthday niyo para mabigyan kita ng gift po jk.

Grabe kayo ah. Post ko GCash ko sa comments diyan. Tignan niyo.  Jk. So for my birthday, Mi cumple es trece de Pebrero. I was born a day before Valentine’s so that makes me an Aquarius, the supreme sign. 

Next question is — How old are you?

Tengo 23 años. I am currently 23 years old—just turned 23, actually last month.

So for the next question, the next question asks — Do you currently work or are you a student? If the latter, what’s your program?

Soy estudiantes. Yes, I am still a student. Estudiar investigacion en comunicacion. I am a Communication Research student, currently third-year standing, at the University of the Philippines Diliman here in the Philippines. 

Our second to the last question asks— What’s your nationality? And do you speak many languages?

Soy de Filipinas. I am from the Philippines, which makes me Filipino. In terms of the languages that I speak, hablo ingles y filipino. I fluently speak English and Filipino. But fun fact, I actually know a bit of German since last year, I took up an elementary course in German but, I am not that confident in terms of writing and speaking the language so I know just a little bit. But I fluently speak English and Filipino. 

And we’re down to our last question which reads — How are you?

Asi asi. Estoy cansado. I’m just tired since I’m trying to balance a lot of things in my life, such as my academics, my family, and personal life. But, you know, I try to stay organized and stay on top of things and try to find balance in life so that I can be muy feliz or very happy in my life.  So, since this is a quick vlog, I’ll only be answering those questions for today’s video.
