Shocking details emerge after man shot at oval in Victoria
A man who was critically injured in a shooting laid on a Geelong oval for 30 minutes before he was able to find help.
The 47-year-old man was shot at an oval in Norlane, near the intersection of Alkira Ave and Yooringa Ave, about 10.30pm on Sunday.
The victim, who has no fixed address, was critically injured and lay in the oval until 11pm when he was able to get up and stumble to a nearby house, where he told the female resident he had been shot. A manhunt is underway after a woman was slashed during a violent carjacking in Geelong.
It is understood two men and a woman approached a car on Woods Rd in St Albans Park about 4.30pm on Monday, threatening a man with a knife.

Geelong could be the next Australian city to get its own "giant" tourist attraction to rival Coff's Harbour's Big Banana, the Sunshine Coast's Giant Pineapple and Ballina's oversized prawn.

Geelong has recorded 13 new COVID-19 cases and there are 3 new infections on the Surf Coast.
Geelong's active tally is 186.
Across the state 1,196 new cases and 3 more lives lost from the virus.
Recent data shows 89.8% of eligible people have had two doses of the vaccination.
