“you need to sleep more.” he whispers, kissing his hand softly. “why haven’t you? sleep is good for you, geun.” his lips find geun’s cheek, humming softly & he rests his chin on an armrest. “you’re very beautiful.”

The instinct to pull his hand away from Daesung was stronger than he could say, yet he kept his composure, and allowed the deer to continue holding his hand, and taking him to the chair. He sat, eyes falling upon Daesung. “I cannot say in certainty. The days blend together now — it has been a long time, however.”

he keeps his arms wrapped tightly around the other & whimpers, his eyes watering now. he slides his hands into geun’s, squeezing his hands tightly. “i-” love you. he loves geun but he can’t tell. he knows it won’t be reciprocated. “i care about you... please stay. i want you to.” he whispers, whining loudly, “please? geun, i need you.”

He can hear as the other comes down the stairs, and he flinches slightly at the touch, and the hug, but doesn’t go to push Daesung away. He always flinches at ginger and gentle touches; those small intimacies are something he isn’t used to — it’s different to sex. He doesn’t quite flinch as he feels the others face against his skin, but instead squeezes his eyes shut, fists balling tightly. “It’s better for both of us if I don’t stay, Daesung. I don’t understand why you want me to.”

he’s cold without the other next to him, whining slightly & he sits up, blinking his eyes open. “w-wait!” he’s shivering a bit & he wraps the blankets around himself, gripping his shirt & he slides it on so he can rush out after the male. he grabs his shoulder & hugs him. “stay.” daesung whispers, his eyes close & he tucks his face into the crook of geun’s neck. “please?”

“thank you.” he smiles a bit before a concerned look continues to spread over his face; grasping geun’s hand out of instinct. he just wants to keep the demon safe, he needs to. “come.” he slowly walks them towards a chair, setting geun down & he sits down next to him on the floor. “how long has it been since you slept?”

His eyes rested upon his own arm until he noted the other had looked down. He then kept his gaze upon the deer. “I don’t need to, but I will; if it will quell that anxiety.” He gave a nod - as though gesturing to the aura of Daesung.

“okay.” his head falls down & he looks at his feet with a frown. “but can you please rest soon? i would like to keep you safe.” he admits cooly; his teeth latching onto his lip & he gnaws it softly in anxiety.

“I am not tired.” Geun took in the tone of the other, nearly shuddering at it’s purity. He brushed the  other’s hand away with a small sigh. “I am fine. I will not collapse, I have been on my feet for many a  year — and can continue to do so, Daesung.”
