Wanted to share these 2 pieces I made back before I even started illustrating the prologue! The second drawing was from before their ref sheets were made! Both are right after the prologues events- Don't worry he'll be okay!

I'm currently still unsure if chapter 1 will release in a month or later than that- as I've fallen into a small art rut and am having difficulty working on pages! Thanks for your patience and support everyone!

Hi everyone! I'd like to make an update concerning chapter 1 now that the prologue is finished, I feel bad for putting such a large gap between chapters- however I'm going to take a month off minimum (hopefully back around May 18th right after my birthday!) to work on the next chapter!

I am on the shading/background stage of the first ten pages, and have boarded the last 10 pages, and while getting atleast 10 pages done is a great start, with art block/looming burnout I don't want to push them all out for next week!

I'll try and post some lore related things I have done in the gap of time! Thanks for all the love and support on the prologue! 🫶

I was simply curious! If I ever set some kind of patreon up for The Decaying, with some tiers for example letting me add your character as a zombie cameo! Would anyone be interested? Now I only started this comic up, and I'd only set something like this up idk after chapter 1 or even 2 is over? But I just wanted to see!

Possibly thinking of taking a couple week break after the prologue is finished (page 7 and 8 left) as I'm nowhere near finished with even half of chapter 1 and I really want to get to that point before I keep posting! Especially if I start posting pages biweekly meaning 10 pages will equal 5 weeks free to work instead !!

Also my captions seem pretty repetitive but that's because it's the first pages!

Soon it won't be: Prologue: 4 , Pg 4

But will be something like: "Chapter 1: 4 , Pg 12

The first one always says what chapter it is and what page in the chapter it is, and then the second one says OVERALL what page it is from the whole comic!! All chapters included!

Hi The Decaying nation! So I realize I accidentally scheduled page 2 for today.. so I mean, enjoy that early I guess! It'll return to Wednesdays the coming weeks LOL- I edited some tags yesterday and it scheduled to today accidentally (I didn't pay attention to what day March 5th was..)

Happy "the Decaying release date announcement day"!

I will be posting a page every Wednesday of the prologue of The Decaying! Starting February 28! It'll last the next 8 weeks, and after that DEPENDING on how much I have done, it may switch to biweekly! (Cause I don't want it to take 8 months to post 1 chapter...) , but I don't want to fall into burnout! I said new year new me but that somehow turned into making a webcomic and that's a lot of work!

Hope you guys are excited :]!
