Clean slate! We were very lucky… counting our blessings as we cleaned up and prepared for the next wave of storms. We only had a few inches of standing water, and most of our stuff was already up off the floor on carts and dollies, if not already in our overhead storage. After the flooding receded, we found that we had just lost some cardboard, packaging, and power cords. However, many of our fellow Islais Creek Studio artists weren’t so lucky, and it’s heartbreaking to see the pile of stuff to be tossed grow larger as everyone works to clean up and prepare.
