Now my little rant that I've been trying to keep in but imma just add it here: it seems that most of the haters throwing out nasty comments seem to be old BFU fans who only watch Ghost Files and can not let go of the past and does not realize that BFU has been over for almost 3 years now. Guess what?

It's totally ok to miss and grieve the loss of something you love, but continuously comparing Watcher to just BFU is tiring. Watcher is so much more than BFU, and if you guys would just simply read Watcher's company motto then you would know that.

So how about instead of living in 2018, you come and join us in 2024 and recognize that Shane Madej, Ryan Bergara, and especially Steven Lim are still fucking hilarious alongside the wonderful team at Watcher.

You know, I am a bit peeved about the fact that watcher are being called the greediest channel on youtube currently, when they literally did what few other youtube channel have done and actually took the criticism to heart and changed. Yeah, they fucked up initially but at least they admitted they did.

and to answer your question, yes. because i'm an adult person in my 20s. also, i've been an insensitive idiot before so I know how easy it is to do. ALSO, I like to protect my peace and their videos make me happy.

they saw the backlash. they apologized and made a compromise, so what is there to be mad about? i do not hold people i do not know to high standards. i expect them to take accountability when they do something wrong and apologize. WHICH THEY DID.

Regarding the entire Watcher thing, i know I'll sound extremely naive and/or stupid, but for some fuckass reason I still have faith in ryan and shane. I still believe that they can and *will* come back from this IF they truly are who they've claimed to be all these years. I still love them with all my heart but im beyong disappointed cause I thought they're much better than this. I don't consider them evil & greedy capitalists, i honestly think this was a VERY poorly thought decision and I truly hope they'll reconsider. I can't speak for everyone but if they make a response in the following days and backtrack, for me it'll be as if nothing has changed. Of course given that the apology is sincere and coming from their hearts. Obviously it'll leave a bad taste in my mouth and their reputation is damaged; however I choose to trust the ghoul boys even after all this fiasco that in the end they'll make the right decision. I hope they'll realize how much their fanbase loves them, considering almost all the comments give constructive criticism AND suggestions to solve the problem. It's not our job to pay them, they should've managed their money better. I'm devastated & tbh this feels like a fever dream. I will wholeheartedly continue to support shane and ryan if they prove us longtime fans right: that they're indeed the ghoul boys we knew and loved

At the end of the day, they aren't a megacorporation. They're a small company that's never done this before and did a stupid decision, and are trying to save their reputation
