Do not be me guys. If you see anything with exposed wiring, even if youre used to handling these things, don’t just fucking grab it without precautions.

Two little stripy burns are the only external signs of injury but its hitting me after talking it over with my mother that I took a full circuit charge today that had the potential to kill me or at least cause cardiac or respiratory distress. And I fucking walked it off like a clueless asshole.

If you get shocked and your muscle clenches and takes time to release, your chest aches, or your teeth and ears feel fuzzy, do not just bitch about it and keep working because you’re probably not as fine as you think you are.

Im probably gonna feel like shit tomorrow. 2.5hrs later my chest still hurts.

1. Biggest fear?

Needles. I don’t even have my ears pierced. Haven’t had a checkup in over a decade cause I know they’ll draw blood. 

2. Favorite flower/plant?

Morning glory and Moonflower. 

3. Are you close to your family?

Depends which family. Blood or bond? Blood, not so much. Mom and I are pretty good friends and I know I can rely on dad even when we fight a lot. My grandmother called me Judas last time I saw her cause I tried to discuss the book of Job with her. I don’t really know anyone else still alive on either side of my family and I’m an only child. 

My bond family though? I’d give my life for them. 

4. Your deepest wish?

I think that’s a tie between writing for a living and entering the Mass Effect Universe. 

5. What’s something(s) that always calm you?

Music. Writing. Hot showers. Tea. My sick sweater: a super old too big old sweater that used to be my moms as a kid and I nicked it when she was cleaning out her hope chest that’s just the right amount of cozy and scratchy and is my go to when I’m emotionally or physically off. 

6. Some movies you love?

So many. Star Wars, Star Trek, Firefly, Lord of the Rings, Mamma Mia, The Martian, some of those “based on true events” like Deepwater Horizon. 

7. Guilty pleasure song?

Eff. I dunno. I listen to so much and I’m not really guilty about any of it. Heh, then again, I suppose Rick Astley’s Never Gonna Give You Up. 

8. Favorite weird smell? (Old basements/wet paper towel/etc.)

Gasoline at a pump if we’re talking weird. But favourite smell in general is old bookstores.

9. Game that has changed your life and how?

Mass Effect. It’s introduced me to some amazing people and reignited my writing when I’d been so stressed I simply couldn’t create. And it’s given me some role models that actually feel like people I could be like.

Okay … so this is an amazing kickstarter project which I’m totally backing. These enamel heart pins look amazing - plus a bunch of hearts are already funded. Yay. But you all know I’m a massive MASSIVE fan of James Vega, so of course I’d love to see his heart get unlocked, but even if it doesn’t … how amazing do some of these earlier designs looks? The Tali pin? The Kaidan pin? The Garrus pin? Eeep. So beautiful.

Anyway - if you’re a mass effect fan, you should definitely consider funding this awesome looking project! And if you can’t back it, why not help signal boost the hell out of this and support an amazing artist!  ^_^
