i was rewatching battle tendency and got to that scene where joseph yelled goodbye to suzie before they left for switzerland and i started wondering what kind of conversation joseph had with caesar to get him to turn the car around (i mean they had already started to drive off) and this is my theory

To answer your question, little one, I had originally served under King Astral… Asgore’s father.

Although, in truth, the unrest between humans and monsters began even earlier. During the reign of the Gorgons. This war did not simply begin over night, no, it boiled. It boiled for HUNDREDS of years- tensions grew. It was because of that– well- perhaps I am avoiding the question.

I believe I have mentioned several times I had the pleasure of fighting with the King… In fact- I can still remember the first time I saw him…. He was one POWERFUL beast of a man, you could feel the sheer intent and magic rolling off him with every step. I fought alongside DRAGONS, mind you, and yet his very presence was enough to take your breath away. He was a TRUE leader, our king was.  heh. didja have a bit of a crush there buddy boy? Haha, I suppose that is what that sounds like. But no. No Red I am afraid you would’ve had to meet him to understand. His sheer presence alone- without all entourage and banner-men- riding atop a horse ta give Terry a run for his carrots– To see even Gerson kneel before him was enough to blow my daft little mind. WHOO a radge wee shite I was. pfff— oh? what makes you say THAT? ‘Cuz I was ta one who was gunna kick his pretentious arse. Haha, aye. Told ‘em as much, too. You WHAT!? AHAHAHA! WOOOWWWW GRILLBY! Haha, if you all were ta meet me back than- I doubt you’d recognize me. I was a wildfire and the world was going to know it… Suffice to say I got quite the wallopin’ from both Ame and Gerson. Surprised they didn’t do me in for good, that time around haha…. *sigh* It is what got me noticed, though. I was even called into his tent. I held my tongue, for the most part, but there wasn’t anyone who was going to stop me from speaking my mind… I still think he found it quite amusing. Or, at least the reactions of everyone else… Haha…. *sigh*
