1955 Packard Request Hardtop Concept
The 1955 Request was based on the Packard 400. The Request was notable for its front design, which included a retro Packard grille. While it never went into production, it influenced the styling of the '56 Packards.

1953 Allstate Sedan
The 1952 and 1953 Allstate were Sears, Roebuck & Company's brief foray into the auto market. Based on the Henry J from Kaiser, designer Alex Tremulis contrived a hardware shuffle to give it a different look. This transformation involved mainly a new face, with a quick remake of the grille, putting in two horizontals and a little triangular piece, a jet plane-type hood ornament that looked nice, and an Allstate logo with a map of the U.S. Other distinguishing exterior details were smooth wheel covers without the Kaiser "K," special door locks, standard opening deck lid, not standard on all Henry J. On earlier models, the trunk was accessed through the back seat Under the hood the Willys-designed flathead engines were painted blue with orange "Allstate" lettering. They were available through the Sears, Roebuck catalog.
