It is always interesting seeing evil male characters be revered, excused, and even lusted after by fans—and then evil female characters be hated on and punished severely. Especially if they are meant to be or implied to be queer.

I swear I’ve seen more vehement hate for Eternal Sugar as a character than Shadow Milk.

Not to mention the hate for EternalBerry compared to ShadowVanilla. It’s kind of wild seeing the switch up. I could be in an algorithm loop though, where the most hateful content is being promoted versus the positive. I guess I just find it interesting how many people don’t realize this hate for evil women/love for evil men is rooted in misogyny (not saying that’s everyone’s reason but I feel it does play a factor through implicit bias).
