PROOF OF THE AFTERLIFE? Mom films poltergeist that has ‘plagued her home’

Karen Wakefield, 52, believes this picture shows ‘Malcolm’ reflected in her window.

She claims to have been haunted by the "moody ghost" who is believed to be called Malcolm since 2004.

Aside from smashing photographs, slamming doors, and mimicking her boyfriend's voice, Malcolm is also said to have a softer side by putting the kettle on for guests.

She says she has had to learn to live with the supernatural lodger and even signs his name on Christmas cards given to others.

Karen said Malcolm's name was revealed during a Ouija board session, which also said he died aged 57 in 1858.

Karen said: “I still won’t be alone in the house because I’m so scared, but I’ve also come to accept Malcolm as part of the family. I even sign his name on cards from us all.

“I’ll chat to him and tell him off if he’s acting up. It’s the best way to be.

“He loves interacting with people. He even puts the kettle on when we have guests.”

Karen claims to have felt a connection to the spirit world since a child.

She said she was “very psychic,” and that the house where she grew up was also haunted because she heard mysterious knocks, bangs and footsteps when no one else was there.

Kirsty Clinch was taking pictures of a fish and chip shop in Warminster, Wiltshire, using Snapchat when she spotted a ghostly figure.

The 27-year-old said she was left 'freaked out' after she zoomed into the picture, which appeared to show a tall black shadow with a white 'face'.

Miss Clinch, a singer-songwriter, said: 'It definitely appeared to be the Grim Reaper crouching in the dark next to Creme de la Cod fish and chip shop.

‘The alley in which the spooky figure can be seen separates the fish and chip shop from Co-Operative Funeralcare.'
