Thoughts on RPGs in my library for no reason
Skyrim - Baby's first RPG. Honestly I loved it when I first got it years ago but I've long since played better RPGs and open world games, and I could not do another playthrough (even though I have a bunch of mods installed).
Dragon Age - Also got them years ago. I played Inquisition first and was absolutely obsessed. First game where I did two full playthroughs back to back. Never did the DLC though, don't ask me why. It took me some years to pick up Origins and Two but I liked them both as well. Leliana my love, I miss you. From an objective standpoint I do think Origins is the best one but my heart still belongs to Inquisition. Haven't played Veilguard, waiting for more of a discount (which I'm sure will come soon), but I think I wouldn't hate it. I'm a Marvel enjoyer and played Midnight Suns, I can take some bad dialogue and story. As long as I get to kiss a hot woman I'll be happy.
Baldur's Gate 3 - 100+ hours on my first playthrough and never finished it. Act three just got too overwhelming and I felt like I needed to do 50000 side-quests to get a good ending, so I just didn't. The game honestly never really fully clicked with me. I expected a Dragon Age level obsession but these days I don't really care much about the game. I tried starting a new playthrough a few times, even once honour mode but I noticed that the game is too filled for my taste. Like, there are so many areas to explore and quests to do and I don't really care to do all that again.
Witcher 3 - Love it. Probably my favorite of all time. I accidentally missed an important quest and tried my best to be a good dad to Ciri, which all ended in me getting the worst possible ending and crying my eyes out. It's honestly hilarious to remember, but in my defense all those ending cutscenes are brutally sad when you messed up. I own the other Witcher games but haven't had motivation to play them.
Cyberpunk 2077 - Eh. I got into it because of Judy fanart and she did not disappoint but I cannot remember much else about the game. I've tried multiple times to play it again but the long tutorial/prologue/act 1(?) bore me too much to get past. And since I don't remember much about the game and I'm not a DLC guy, I probably won't get the DLC. Pretty sure Judy isn't in it, so what's the point if I have no pretty lady to kiss.
That's all the thoughts for now. Maybe I'll pick this up again when I have more thoughts. Have a nice day.

Currently reading the Fantastic Four 2018 comic series and it's really damn good for someone who's new to the Fantastic Four. Usually when I try to get into a new character and pick up a series that's supposed to be a decent entry, I get pretty confused by what's happening or by older events and supporting characters I don't know.
While the first few issues were a bit confusing, they soon retold the origins of the Fantastic Four and some supporting characters (roughly and later in greater detail) and the story lines got pretty fun. I also absolutely love how the style changes to one similar to the 60s style, while still keeping it modern, when there are flashbacks.
Just all around great comics, would definitely recommend the series to anyone wanting to get into the Fantastic Four.
But I do need to figure out what to read after. I'd really like a Fantastic Four run with Spider-Man.

Sea of Stars Review/Rant
First off, I love indie developers and never wish for any game or studio fail at what they create but I just gotta go on a little rant here. I really cannot get behind Sea of Stars. Yeah, its design is absolutely beautiful and I love the general vibes of the game but I do not understand how its 88% positive on Steam. I played almost 14 hours and really wanted to like it, and for 12 hours I did, but then I noticed how little has changed since I started the game. Sure, I leveled but that barely felt like it did anything, and I think you could collect some equipement(? I last played it in March 2024 so excuse me if I get anything wrong), but I still had exactly the same combat abilities. Literally nothing has progressed combat wise, which, to me, is very important to keep an 30+ hours turn-based game interesting. I remember I got another party member but their new abilities alone did not keep the combat engaging. The puzzles were fine (I think). Pretty sure they were just extremely simple and surface level. I did like the level design and "dungeons" but the lack of at least slightly challenging puzzles and engaging combat made them boring and all very similar. I can't say all that much about the story since I can't remember much and I'm pretty bad at analyzing stuff like that. But I thought it was okay, just very generic. I think it tried to be self-aware but it kinda fell flat for me. The characters were truly uninspiring. Pretty sure the main characters barely had personalities and the pirate crew that I remember always made the same unfunny jokes. I suppose the game is probably targeted at a younger audience that doesn't need a deep story, characters and combat mechanics, although many reviews I have seen have been made by adults. But in the end it all doesn't really matter (although I did spend 30€ on a game that I was lead to believe was a masterpiece) and I'm not going to love every game I play. It just sucks when I notice that after the 2 hours Steam gives me to refund a game passed. For that same reason do I absolutely despise GreedFall. I'll probably write a rant about that when my hate for it sparks anew. Anyway, if you somehow found this blog and read my word-vomit, I applaud you and wish you an amazing day.

First post!
Gonna try to figure out how Tumblr works and maybe post about stuff that I currently enjoy. Or maybe I'm gonna forget I made this blog in three days.
Don't expect eloquent words or educated analysis'. I'm just an uneducated guy who has some thoughts about video games and comics and no one to share them with, so I'll share them here.
Please feel free to engage if you somehow stumbled upon this blog (still debating if I wanna use hashtags). Just yk no hate pls. I'm just a silly little guy who hates arguing.
That's it for now. Have a good day!
