everything is embarassing

but is it really though? i like the idea of a digital diary. i feel like there a lack of authenticity on the internet now. while i like following aesthetics and consuming media, i become very attached to certain ficitonal characters or genres of images. but why do we feel the need to be embarrassed by it?

i suppose this is more of a personal thing than anything else, but i want to be less embarrassed by everything. embrace what i love and who cares! maybe that's why i'm finally putting my tumblr account to some use. there is some sort of comfort in sharing thoughts online, even if no one sees it, and it'll be another piece added to the giant world web. but it's somewhat comforting to share something to a corner of the internet. and if it makes me feel better than who cares!

today laura palmer died. i know i'll never know her because she isn't real. but lately i've always been thinking about her constantly. she isn't real but i miss her as if she was like a sister. maybe she's a representation of something, and i don't know what yet. regardless, i miss her.
