Snorkeling at the Royal Haciendas

I came upon a school of French Angelfish while snorkeling today. A few of them still had the last of their juvenile stripes. Always something to see underwater!

It was an interesting morning for sunrise at the Royal Haciendas. The lower part of the sky was very clear. The cruise ship and buildings in Cozumel were very visible. There were lots of clouds in the rest of the sky making colourful shapes.

Cancun Sunrise at the Royal Sands

We come back to the Royal Sands in Cancun most years at this time. I like to capture the sun rising over the Caribbean Sea. It was a calm morning so there were no waves in the infinity pool.

Stormy Day in Cancun

A stormy day in Cancun today. The rain has stopped but the sky looks menacing. Ten years ago on Nov 14 it also was a stormy day. The first picture is from today, the second and third are from Nov 14, 2013! Still great to be here.

A great dive in Cozumel. It started with a beautiful sunrise before we headed out across the water.

I love snorkelling at the Royal Haciendas. There is a small reef that is a 15 minute swim from the shore. No one seems to know about it and I am usually out there on my own. It feels like my private aquarium.

I never get tired of this view of the Rocky Mountains from Fish Creek Park. The Autumn colours are mostly gone as the leaves are off the trees. No snow on the mountains yet.

Fall and winter mornings mean that we can get some beautiful sunrises at Cafe Martini that we can see out of the windows of the room over our garage.

Whitetailed Deer hiding in thee tall grass at Mallard Point in Fish Creek Park. it was very cautions to make sure I didn't get too close.
