An Elysiumship if talk.
Yua is always full of confidence; she treats Zuwee as if nothing happened with the man. But, when Zuwee approached her aggressively until Yua could not feign ignorance anymore, she became all flustered as the man looked her directly in the eyes.
That time, she felt it was embarrassing to learn Zuwee always had a direct gaze, and those gazes were directed at her.

Guess I have to drop it since it has been bothering me for a day or two.
Some years after the ending, Yua got thrown into a parallel where Otes Zuwee existed. Just call him Otezu.
Yua, who did not realise she was thrown into another parallel, got anxious as she saw how different Mutsuba City was from what she last remembered. Then, she suddenly got caught by The Darkmen—not the main five darkmen btw. Still not understanding what happened, Yuamu was brought to the headquarters—ValVelgear or Mutsuba Tower, I had not decided. There, she saw him, Otes, with a strangely similar body build to Zuwee, and he even had his hair.
"How was your last ranaway went? I have to admit it took me longer to find you this time, and might be longer, if you don't bring your foot into the city …, Dark Meister."
It was then that Yua was finally sure, she got thrown into a different parallel. That voice, that smirk, and the way Otes called her, Yua could not help but remember his brother when he turned into Otes.
WAAAH, I WANT TO WRITE IT BUT IT MIGHT BE TURNED INTO A DRAFT JUST LIKE MY OTHER FANFICS. HAHAHAHA. 😭

The Pride's Cowardice
Disclaimer: Yu-Gi-Oh! GO RUSH!! belongs to Takahashi Kazuki, Sugita Naoya, Hikokubo Masahiro, and other respective owners; it will never be mine. Rated: T Genre(s): Romance, Friendship Warning(s): Fanon, GL, Ending not ending Summary: Asaka, just like Zuweejou, was full of pride. That was why Asaka knew how unpleasant it was to stand below other people. The fight with the Dark Matter Empire had ended, but the mystery about the reason that one time Zuweejou served as Yuamu’s knight was still left unanswered.
.
.
.
.
.
When Oudou Yuamu came back as Dark Meister with Zuweejou standing beside her, Asaka could feel a flame burst in her chest in the middle of her shock. At the same time, she felt super confused as she never imagined the Velgearian Supreme Commander would bring himself to serve an Earthling.
“Just admit it, you were jealous since they became closer without you knowing.”
“I wasn’t!!”
Asaka screamed as she pointed angrily at Kawai Teru. Beside her feet, Kuyamuya was purring happily.
“But, well, it was weird. I was also surprised a prideful man like him would bow so low under a human girl's commands.”
Asaka snorted at Teru's remarks. She agreed so much, even though she was pissed that Teru ignored her denial.
Asaka, just like Zuweejou, was full of pride. That was why Asaka knew how unpleasant it was to stand below other people. The only one Asaka completely allowed to rule over her was Yuamu, and that even happened because the girl was winning their duel.
The fight with the Dark Matter Empire had ended, but the mystery about the reason that one time Zuweejou served as Yuamu’s knight was still left unanswered.
“He just did things as he wished. He wagged his tail in front of Yuamu but then went to Otes’ side. What is he? A slave who bows down before power?”
“It’s unlikely.” Asaka blinked as Teru denied her accusation of Zuweejou. “In my speculation, Oudou Yuamu was the one who told him to protect her brother. As she was not an Otes candidate anymore, it was natural for Yuamu to disband Zuweejou from his duty as her subordinate. This is Oudou Yuamu we’re talking about; she worries about her brother more than anyone else or even herself.”
Asaka must admit, Teru was right. When Oudou Yuuhi became Otes, Asaka could feel despair take over her friend—could she even call Yuamu her friend after the girl left Asaka behind to protect Yuuga’s future?
“You want to say that in the end, everything Zuweejou did was for Yuamu?”
Teru sighed. He stopped his hand from controlling the machine in front of him.
“I didn’t say it like that. I mean, he was only following his superior’s order. He was a serious man, so it was unlikely for him to disobey if Yuamu told him to—”
“You mean, it’s possible that the one he wanted to protect was Yuamu after all.”
Teru massaged his forehead. Seriously, Mutsuba Asaka and her imagination ….
Teru looked at the simulation on the screen before him. Silenently, he agreed that Asaka’s assumption was not completely wrong. No one knew what was inside Zuweejou’s head after all.
“He wasn’t you. If it’s you, I’m sure you would throw a tantrum if Yuamu chased you to Yuuhi’s side.”
“You want to pick a fight?! Why should you compare that man to me?!”
Teru glanced at Asaka. Felt an intimidation from Teru’s eyes, Asaka gulped.
“You said you were lonely left behind by Yuamu. Isn’t leaving her because she wishes you to do so will make you feel lonelier and unneeded?”
Asaka felt her head boiling. “By Yuamu” that Kappa said.
“It’s not like I have no other friends!! Just go back to your work if you have time to spout nonsense! We have to save her quickly!”
Instead of following Asaka’s order, Teru took his steps to leave the big monitor he was operating. He stopped in front of Asaka as the girl took a step back, expressing her wariness of him.
“See, you just say you want to save ‘her’. Then, what about the others?”
Asaka’s violet eyes were widening. Teru sighed once again as he confirmed the girl knew what he meant.
“Maybe you should take more action to tell what you feel when you meet her again.” Teru took a glance at Asaka. “If you move too slow, it's only time for this one certain guy to realise he also has to move fast before he loses grasp of what he wants.”
Teru was walking back to where he should continue his job. Left by him, Asaka stood with trembling hands as she circled them into fists.
Teru was definitely annoying, but he did not say anything wrong this time.
“What the heck even I should do …?”
-XxX-
“Just finished working?”
Zuweejou stopped his steps. He was about to rest a bit by looking at the night sky, but the sight of The Four Darkmen falling asleep around Oudou Yuamu halted him from doing so.
“Yeah …. It went well.”
Yuamu smiled widely.
“Good job, then. Have a good rest.” Yuamu said so, then put on a big blanket over the Darkmen who slept soundly next to each other.
Zuweejou felt some mythical feelings as he saw the girl smiling softly as she observed the Darkmen.
“You talked with them?”
“Sort of. Nothing will happen if I just hope they will remember. In the end, what important is to tell them what I feel.”
Yuamu sat beside Blhuair, who slept on the left side. She did not look back at Zuweejou but instead tried to look at the night sky from inside the room.
Zuweejou stayed silent as he saw the girl smiling with soft glints in her eyes.
“You seem more cheerful.”
Yuamu giggled.
“Knowing Yuuhi, Blhuair, and the others are safe makes my chest feel lighter.”
Zuweejou went speechless again.
Again, it’s about other people.
One time, Zuweejou admired Yuamu for all she went through to keep her resolution; for how the girl moved for people she cared about.
But it was never about herself. People might say she was an egoist, but her ego was never about her.
How foolish.
It would be better if she did all the things for herself, though. But, it might be that part of her made Zuweejou choose to bow himself so low to other people for the first time—not like when he deceived The King of Terror, as this time, he was purely moved by her resolution and emotions.
“What do you want to do this time?”
Zuweejou took a place beside her. For a second, Yuamu turned to him, but then she looked back at the night sky. This time, without any smile on her face.
“I was trying to contact Asaka through a letter.” Zuweejou was surprised for a second when he heard “Asaka”’s name leave Yuamu’s mouth. “If it’s her, maybe she can help us to go back … and I have to straighten things after all I've done to her precious town.”
Zuweejou clenched his fist; he stayed silent as he stared at Yuamu’s face.
“Just her?”
Yuamu let out a weak laugh.
“For now. She must have been hurt after Yuuna and I turned our backs on her. She actually gets lonely more easily than she looks.”
Zuweejou felt a weird twitch inside his chest. His blond thick eyebrow frowned.
“You sure she would want to help?”
“Dunno, but I made sure I told her my feelings.”
“Feelings”, she said. Zuweejou knew it was not as bad as he suspected it to be, but he could not help but imagine weird things—the worst possibility that Zuweejou might not like.
“You keep talking about ‘feeling’ today. Something happened?”
Yuamu giggled again, then took a look at Blhuair’s sleeping face.
“Blhuair just made me realise I should stop thinking so hard sometimes.”
The talk about Asaka ended. Zuweejou felt relieved, but something still made him feel scared.
What did Yuamu even write in her letter?
“Zuweejou.”
Zuweejou felt his heart skip a beat as the girl finally called his name. It felt like it had been a long century ago the last time he heard Yuamu call his name like that.
“I never told you this, but thank you for helping me … and sorry because it made people accuse you badly. You did nothing wrong.”
Zuweejou’s eyes widen. He never expected Oudou Yuamu would say something like that to him. Unfortunately, he could not see the girl’s face, not only because it was dark but also because she was looking at the Darkmen as she said that.
It was all Zuweejou’s choice to protect her as she was trying to be Otes for Yuuga; it was illogical for him to receive an apology from Yuamu for what he chose. Even though their first duel after his resurrection did hurt a lot as he was not a Dark Matter Space's Resident, Zuweejou knew Yuamu did not really mean to hurt him.
“You were planning to tell me about your plan from the start." It was not a question; it was a statement, a fact Zuweejou was sure of from the start. "Why was it? You didn’t even plan to revive Velgearians, but you took my deck … as if you were hoping I would return ….”
Zuweejou gritted his teeth. What a foolish thing he asked. It was not Yuamu; it was he who hoped the girl answered that she wished for his return … no matter what her reason was.
“Because … you were the only one who did not turn your back on Yuuga ….”
Zuweejou was left speechless for a moment.
Again, it was because of other people, not her own emotions.
“I did not help him, though.”
“But you did not judge him, so I kind of hope you would not stop me too.”
Zuweejou kept staring at Yuamu. It might be dark, but it could not cover the sadness in the girl’s voice.
“It still doesn’t answer why you took my deck.”
Yuamu laughed awkwardly.
“This might be weird, but I don’t know well myself. After seeing Yuuga’s last memory with you, I just feel want to talk to you.” Yuamu let her gravity pull her body down, then lay down as she looked at Blhuair’s face. “Anyway, I’m sorry for that.”
Zuweejou went into silence. He could not help but feel a warmth spreading inside his chest.
Oudou Yuamu did desire him … even though her reason for that was Oudou Yuuga. Zuweejou felt weird as he was pleased by that.
“In the end, I might just want to use you since I see a possibility where you will understand my goals. Don’t take Yuudias’ word that hard. I’m sure he said that just to make me feel better.”
Zuweejou disagreed with Yuamu's opinion. She was a smart one, but she looked down on herself too much, especially after she chose to walk on her own road. She always seemed full of confidence, but not when she took the actions for her own wish.
Zuweejou knew Yuudias was surely mad at him. Yuamu should know that too, but she chose to put the blame on herself to make Zuweejou feel better, just like what she did to comfort Yuuhi.
“You just walked on your road. In the end, the choices you could make were to save Yuuga or to help with our resurrection, but both have their own sacrifice. For me, resurrecting Velgearians was something that went against our fate, so I chose to help you.” That was not all, but it was enough for now. “And, it was my mistake for not realising Yuuna’s intention.”
Yuamu laughed weakly. She turned her face to Zuweejou. The young UTS CEO looked so tired, but it might not be a physical one.
“You’re too good for me. Choose a better working partner next time.”
It was supposed to be a compliment, but Zuweejou disliked it so much.
Rejection: it was how Zuweejou took Yuamu’s words.
“Zuweejou …?”
Zuweejou’s violet eyes widened again when he saw Yuamu startled. He then looked at his right hand. It was reaching for Yuamu’s strands of hair when he himself did not even realise. Zuweejou loosened his touch on the strands, letting Yuamu’s hair follow the gravity and lie back on the tatami. It did not take long for Zuweejou to put on his usual calm expression again.
“I wonder why you never put yourself at the top of your priority list.”
The question was left unanswered as Zuweejou stood up right after he saw Yuamu’s bright amethyst eyes widening. He took his feet out of the room quietly without looking back at Yuamu.
As Zuweejou left the room, he dropped his body and sat against the thin wall of the building. His big hand covered his eyes.
It was so close ….
Zuweejou gritted his teeth.
He was a prideful man. He put confidence in every choice he made and every action he took. But why could he not take any step forward every time Yuamu was a part of the choice in front of him?
Zuweejou sighed. He then continued his steps with tired eyes.
The foolish one was he after all; he knew the answer all along.
It was just … he was not as brave as Yuamu. Yuamu could take a step to face the things she regretted, but Zuweejou could not make a move toward her as he was scared of how those amethyst eyes would look at him if he did.
No one knows…. And no one will ….
Zuweejou Zwil Velgear, who put his body on the front line of space war for what he believed and wanted to protect, was a cowardly man.
For once, Zuweejou doubted if he could win the battle in front of him … the battle against his cowardice … and Mutsuba Asaka.

A/N:
People might have different way to interpret the character's feelings, but this is just how my shippy head interprets them. Anyway, it is fiction, so I hope people will not sue me if they do not like how I write what I imagine.
F.y.i., the draft was there since the last Asaka vs Yuamu episode was released. Yuamu liked Asaka a lot and had a little crush on Zuweejou that did not even last for a day. Then I realised that both Asaka and Zuweejou were prideful characters. Yuamu, now I can see the type of people who attract you. :D
I hope you enjoy the fanfiction even if I did not make a proper ending. I really want to write about Zuweejou and Asaka's rivalry, but I have no idea, so I will just post another bonus chapter if I find any ideas. Thank you for reading!

Yuamu, in her twenties.
Tumblr media
Do not ask me where her glasses were because you know I have no space in my mood to draw them.
Just buy some cute pastel markers set from Daiso, and I definitely want to use them properly, even just for once. But, honestly, I have no skill to draw manually—it was not like I had any if I drew digitally, though.

I REALLY REALLY LOVE OFFICIAL YUGIOH FOR PUTTING DARK MEISTER WITH SENGOKU VERSION OF THE BOYS ON THE LAST BD COVER.
They just proved that DM is not some dark history but a precious phase of Yua's character growth when she finally moved for herself—her own ego—to protect her precious one, Yuuga, in this case. Thank you so much. I love DM Yua so much. 😭
BUT ANYWAY, SHE IS SO CUTE THERE. ARGH. 💢💕❤️✨

Not in Time Feelings
Disclaimer: Yu-Gi-Oh! GO RUSH!! belongs to Takahashi Kazuki, Sugita Naoya, Hikokubo Masahiro, and other respective owners; it will never be mine. Rated: T Genre(s): Romance, Friendship, Hurt/Comfort Warning(s): Fanon Summary: Gakugen had a story behind his hairpins, and it seemed like Gakugen teased his lord too much until Yuudeiasu got too curious about it.
.
.
.
.
.
Gakugen knew that there was nothing special behind the hairpins he usually kept in the box inside his room.
“I only saw you use them once. Why don’t you put them on again?”
Gakugen only smiled a little when he heard his great lord ask him about the hairpin.
“Do the inhabitants outside the Earth have no habit of keeping their important things tightly?”
“What for? Things were there to be used, right?”
Gakugen laughed a little, but not because he made fun of his lord, but because he found his naivety kind of cute.
“But I thought my lord did the same thing to the twins.”
“But they’re not a thing.”
Gakugen brought up his sake cup, staring into the clear liquid inside.
“… Things, humans …, no matter what it is, we, humans, have a habit of being possessive because we don’t want to lose our precious ones. Just like how The Great Lord does not want anything to hurt your precious ones, I also think the same.”
“So, you want to say that the hairpins are important to you?”
Gakugen took a sip of the alcohol inside his cup before he looked back at his lord. A smile did not leave his face as he answered, “Yeah, I took much liking to them.”
As Gakugen thought about the hairpins, the figure of a long-haired brunette girl stretched out her hand and holding out the hairpins to him appeared in his head. The girl’s big smile just never left his head, not even once. Gakugen still even remembered how his hair swayed when the girl put on the hairpins for him.
“You must get it from someone important then.”
Gakugen could not help but be amused as he saw the lord smile hearing the talk about Gakugen’s hairpins.
“The lord is right. Even so, it was too late when I realised that.” Gakugen spoke as his lord pouring out a new alcohol into his cup. Gakugen made sure to politely receive the lord’s alcohol even though he was told to drink comfortably.
“Why is that?”
“There were sayings that humans only realised something was important when it was gone for good.”
“Why did you keep answering indirectly like that?”
Gakugen only smiled when his lord showed his concern. Usually, people would be annoyed if he were evading questions like that, but as expected of Oudou Yuudeiasu. The concerns for his people always came first.
“I am just afraid my lord would be mad for the hairpins.”
“Why should I?”
It might be rude, but Gakugen found it amusing as Yuudeiasu did not understand what Gakugen meant.
“Because I have secrets concerning one of my lord’s precious treasures.”
“Gakugen, you, my people, are also my treasures.”
Yuudeiasu smiled as he corrected Gakugen’s phrase. Gakugen could not help but feel a warmth in his chest.
“Thank you for your kind words, My Lord. It was an honour to serve a lord as wise as you.”
“So, what about those hairpins?”
Gakugen thought Yuudeiasu would let go of the hairpins topic already, but it seemed like Gakugen teased his lord too much until Yuudeiasu got too curious about it.
Gakugen cleared his throat.
“Then, I will tell you … if you do not mind.”
“Of course I won’t.”
Yuudeiasu’s smile widened; excitement filled his eyes. He might look calm, but Gakugen felt he was just like a little child who got to listen to a story before going to bed.
“So, it was the night before my lord was heading to Outeiusu’s castle ….”
-XxX-
It was not rare for Gakugen to send his people to Outeiusu’s castle. After all, he had to report the situation on his land to his great lord. Preparing things to send off Yuudias Velgear’s team on their trip was something that he usually also did for his people. Even though they were outsiders, Gakugen refused to just send them casually. The existence of his descendant as one of the members was one thing, but truthfully, he just did not like to help people in trouble half-heartedly.
“Gakugen-san, you still up?”
Gakugen just sent Rankage and Rinkage off for the day after they finished helping him with the preparations; that was why he was surprised when a girl’s voice was heard from behind his back when he did the final re-checking. When Gakugen turned back, he caught sight of a brunette girl smiling at him as she approached him.
“I am. Do you need some help with something?”
The girl laughed awkwardly and waved her hand to sign that Gakugen was mistaken.
“No, it was rude for me to even just bother you this late. I just have something that somehow bothered me. If you have time, can I borrow just a little of them?” The girl made a little gesture with her hands, as if she were holding a little bean with her thumb and index finger. Her eyes narrowed to emphasise that she really did mean it when she said “little”.
“Of course. Let’s find a place to sit and—”
“Ah, no, no!” The girl raised her voice a little. Her hair was waving as she suddenly leaned her body forward and waved her palms in front of Gakugen. “Just stay like that. This won’t be long.”
“Hm? What do yo—”
Gakugen’s words were cut and his sapphire eyes widened. The girl took a step to shorten the distance between them. She tiptoed, and that was exactly what made Gakugen lose his word.
Gakugen never got that close with a girl—not even with Rankage, one of his closest female vassals. Even facing women on the battlefield was a rare thing … but to get his face that close with a girl privately, even just for a second, was certainly something he had never experienced before.
“It’s done. How is it?”
Gakugen blinked. The girl put some distance between them again. She was smiling as she asked the question. Gakugen was dumbfounded as he tried to touch the right side of his head. Now, to think about it, he somehow felt some strands of his hair tickling earlier as the girl touched them. He then felt something hard stuck in his hair. What was that? A thin stick?
“Little girl, what is this?”
The girl giggled.
“You seem to have the same naughty strands as Manabu, and then I remembered that I have some hairpins left in my pocket. Anyway, you can just call me by my name if you don’t mind. It’s Yuamu by the way. I've told you earlier, but I think you might have forgotten since you have no time to remember our names.”
Yuamu then turned her body. Gakugen was surprised; he realised Yuamu was about to leave. Was that all she needed with him?
“Oh, right.”
Yuamu stopped her steps, then turned her head again. She smiled at Gakugen, then fully turned her body to where Gakugen stood. She walked back towards the man again. Gakugen felt a little nervous as he did not know what the girl would do this time.
“Here. I always bring these just in case, but I ended up not really using them. Make sure to keep them properly because it's easy to lose little accessories like these.”
Yuamu offered a pair of thin little sticks in her hands. Gakugen knew those things, since he had similar ones in his drawer.
“‘Yuamu’ … was it? Why are you giving your hairpins to me?” Gakugen asked as he stared straight into the girl’s amethyst eyes. He did not move an inch to accept the things Yuamu offered to him.
Yuamu blinked as she heard the question, but then she held back a laugh and smiled humorously.
“I’ve said it, it was because I don’t use them. But if you don’t need them, you can just refuse.”
“No.” Right when Yuamu was about to pull her hand back, Gakugen took the hairpins from her palm. “I’ll gladly accept them then.”
Gakugen knew it was not good to receive things randomly from others, especially those he did not know well, but he felt like he did not want to refuse Yuamu’s gift. Was it because he felt nothing bad from her intentions?
Gakugen somehow could not help but smile even though he still felt confused.
“I appreciate your kindness.”
“Don’t be. I'm just here to do what I wish to after all.”
Judging from Yuamu’s expression, Gakugen knew the girl meant what she said. Gakugen reflexively touched the left side of his head again. Was his cowlick bothering her that much?
“Once again, thank you for your help. Good night then, Gakugen-san.”
Yuamu bowed a little, showing her respect, then left without even waiting for Gakugen’s response. Gakugen reached out his hand; he was about to stop her … but halted.
What should he even say after holding her back?
“Yeah …. Good night ….”
Gakugen knew it was too late to respond as Yuamu was ready to leave the room by any second, but Gakugen could not help himself. Yuamu looked at Gakugen for the last time and sent off her smile before leaving the room for real.
Left by Yuamu, Gakugen stared at the exit for some seconds before he looked at the hairpins she got from Yuamu.
Gakugen did not understand why, but he felt his chest get warmer. He smiled as he assumed the hairpins might be Yuamu’s way to show her gratitude.
How amusing.
Gakugen closed his palm, holding on to the little accessories inside. Gakugen did not understand, but he felt as if he had just got hidden treasures.
If only he realised sooner the reason why his chest was tingling every time he remembered the hairpins the girl gave him.
-XxX-
Gakugen took a sip of his alcohol after he finished the story of his hairpins. He pretended not to notice the surprise Yuudeiasu had on his face.
“Wait ….” Yuudeiasu held the side of his head with an unbelievable expression. “So, you're saying that you like Yuamu? How come no one noticed this?”
Gakugen chuckled.
“How can anyone notice when I did not even notice? Or I might just have no space to notice since we have so many things to take care of.”
“You’re not denying it …?!”
Gakugen felt entertained by Yuudeiasu’s surprised response. So, his lord expected him to be joking? It was not like Gakugen did not notice that his lord secretly had an overprotective side over the Oudou Twins, but Gakugen did not expect Yuudeiasu to deny the fact of how Gakugen held an interest in Oudou Yuamu.
“How I feel is not important since it was just a story of the past. My lord does not have to be bothered by it.”
“How can you say that? Don’t you feel frustrated that you can’t talk more with Yuamu? Or tell her any of how you feel?”
Yuudeiasu was showing his concern for Gakugen. Gakugen knew that Yuudeiasu would do so, even though it was questionable if he would support how Gakugen felt about the girl or not. Gakugen felt his chest warm as he confirmed once again that he had someone wise as his lord.
“We came from different periods, and it was my fate to let go of these feelings. I just do what I can for her—making a better future for her and her friends with you, My Lord.”
Yuudeiasu frowned. Gakugen knew his lord might not be satisfied with how Gakugen faced his own feelings.
“I’m grateful that you think like that … but you can tell me anytime you miss her or want to talk about her, okay?” Yuudeiasu smiled a little. “After all, it’s not just you who thinks of her.”
Gakugen’s smile widened, then turned into a little laugh.
“Yes, I am not sure I can beat my lord if it comes to her. Compared to my lord, my time with her was really short.”
“Now, you must regret not talking more to Yuamu, right?”
“Now, you know me so well, My Lord.”
Gakugen and Yuudeiasu continued to talk about their time before the parallel war, accompanied by smiles and laughs.
It was unknown to Gakugen that far in the future, Yuudias Velgear made sure Sougetsu Gakugen’s story about his adoration reached Oudou Yuamu's ears properly.

A/N:
I know this is a super minor ship, but I just like how Yuamu commented on Gakugen's fart speech and calling him "Gakugen-san". She was so adorable when she did it. Anyway, the show was so inconsistent with Gakugen's design, so I just assumed Gakugen had his hairpins from the start and make him got another ones from Yuamu. There was one episode where he put on the gold ones. I just think, what if he got them from Yuamu? Just let me have my imaginatioooon …!
Anyway, thank you for reading!

Mr. Shop Owner & Ms. President
Tumblr media
Purchase 1: Family
Disclaimer: Yu-Gi-Oh! GO RUSH!! belongs to Takahashi Kazuki, Sugita Naoya, Hikokubo Masahiro, and other respective owners; it will never be mine. Cover Illustration: Sheville Elvie Rated: T Genre(s): Slice of Life, Friendship Warning(s): Alternate Reality/Universe where Yuamu had no sibling and a certain mysterious blond man ran a small bread shop alone. Summary: It was not like Yuamu was a fan of bread, but once, she found this little bread shop.
.
.
.
.
.
The doorbell of a small bread shop in the forest was ringing.
“Welcome.”
A flat welcoming voice from a low-toned voice was heard. Oudou Yuamu felt a strange serenity as she found the owner of the voice.
“Hello, Shop Owner. I see the new bread advertisement you put on the town’s bulletin board.”
Yuamu took a tong and a tray as she spoke. Inside her head, she was counting how many breads she should buy for her company employees.
The blond man Yuamu called as the shop owner did not speak any other words, but Yuamu did not even bother. That was just how the man was.
It was not like Yuamu was a fan of bread, but once, she found this little bread shop. The shop did not really have that many customers, but it was one of the factors why Yuamu liked the shop. Also, they did sell the yummiest breads, which was enough to impress Yuamu’s buds of taste.
“Oudou-san, are you sure you're not picking too much?”
Yuamu giggled as the shop owner commented when Yuamu put the tray of breads she picked on the cashier’s table. Recently, the owner started to talk to her even if she did not initiate the talks.
“You're underestimating our Tazaki-san, Mr. Shop Owner.”
“… You're buying these for them again.”
The Shop Owner did not really change his expression, but somehow Yuamu felt like the man was sighing inside his heart. Yuamu just stared at the man as he was packaging the pile of breads that Yuamu brought.
As they started to talk more, Yuamu realized some little things about the man. For example, about how he was not really amused with family talks or how Yuamu value her employees—her family.
“I wonder what kind of family the Shop Owner have.”
“It was only me and my little sister; we don’t even live together.”
Yuamu’s amethyst eyes widened. So he did have one!
“How old is she? She lives with your relatives?”
The Shop Owner smiled a little. He looked back at Yuamu.
“You seem to enjoy talks about siblings, huh?”
Yuamu just laughed dryly. He got her.
“I have no siblings, so I was wondering a lot how it feels to have one.”
She felt embarrassed as she explained herself. Her amethyst eyes were not directed at the man.
“Having one is not always a good thing.” Yuamu’s tension burned down as she heard the comment. Slowly, she looked back at the blond man; he looked unimpressed, but Yuamu caught a small smile on his face. “But it might be a nice thing to have a caring and hardworking family … just like you.”
Yuamu knew the man was trying to flatter her … but somehow, she felt worried about him. A drop of loneliness was definitely painted in his tone. Yuamu did not know much about the man, but she roughly guessed he might feel uncomfortable with his family. Every time Yuamu realized it, she felt bad for the man.
“Shop Owner, how old are you?”
“15.”
“Wow, you’re younger than how you look.”
The Shop Owner just smiled at Yuamu’s rude comment. He then looked back at the cashier machine as he finished his calculation of the breads Yuamu brought.
“That’s the total price. I will give you a discount as you’re my regular.”
Yuamu gasped as she saw the numbers on the cashier machine's display screen.
“1000 yen for this much? You sure the shop won’t go bankrupt?”
“So you don’t need the discount?”
Yuamu quickly pulled out a sheet of one hundred yen and slammed it onto the cashier's table with a big smile.
“Who said that? I will gladly accept it.”
The ship owner smiled in satisfaction, then handed Yuamu a small paper card. Yuamu took the card and looked at it curiously.
“It’s a stamp card. You can get one stamp for a purchase a day. If you collect 8 stamps, you will get one bread of the month for free.”
“Wow! What’s the bread this month?”
“Green curry bread.”
Yuamu frowned.
“You … don’t tell me you make curry bread again even though you hate spicy things. How do you even taste it before putting it on sale?”
“Everything will be okay as long I put the right amount of ingredients.” The shop owner answered with his usual flat face.
Yuamu sighed hard before she smiled in defeat.
“I never ate anything nasty here, so I will believe in your sense.”
“Thank you for your patronage.”
Yuamu put the stamp card in her purse, then took the brown paper bag full of breads she bought after she put her purse back in her pocket.
“Then, I will come back again.”
Yuamu left the store with a smile on her face. She got a big deal today. It might be her lucky day.
Yuamu took her step out of the forest while thinking about the job she should be doing after breakfast. But, in the middle of her thoughts, she realized something.
“I forgot to ask his name again.”
Yuamu sighed.
“Well, nothing can be done. Can just ask another day.”

A/N:
Is that man …? No, I will answer nothing besides the fact that the ship in this series is just like what you guessed. And I will just say this is actually one of the settings I always had in my head.
I put this as a multichapter story, but actually, I planned to just update the stories like a one-shot every chapter so I can just write as how I like. I hope I will post another one of the series in the future though. I did have ideas in my head but finishing it is certainly not an easy one.
I decided to write the story down as I scrolled down my ZuweeYua collection in my gallery and realised my favourite piece was a perfect one to be the cover of the series. Thank you to Sheville Elvie who made the illustration that inspired me to write the story. ✨

Someone played YGO WC 2010: Reverse of Arcadia?
Hear me out. I shipped Crow with the female protagonist since I was in school, but I forgot how intense their interaction was until I liked them that much, so I played the game again.
Anyway, since GR was talking about a parallel world, I believe it was some kind of 5D's parallel world where they have 5 members of Team Satisfaction, and in the real canon world, the protagonist was somewhere, having no meeting point with the main characters YET.

People might think I toned down my passion for Elysiumship since the show has ended.
The truth is … I was pouring my passion in the middle of my tight work schedule. 👁️👁️

Views on GR plot from DME arc onwards, especially views on Yuamu and Zuweejou (Please stay away from this blog if you cannot stand it)
I'm not following the GR community or anything, but since I silently know there are so many different opinions on this show's characters, I think I need to make a warning post In case someone wants to scroll through my blog or follow it for GR content.
I will talk about my view on the character so you will at least get a grasp of how I view the plot—especially from the DME arc onwards—and some of the characters, mostly Yuamu and Zuweejou.
Simply said, I simp Yuamu every damn day and with that statement, now you know that you should not try to scroll through my blog or interact with me if you see her as a complete antagonist. If you still do and bash her in front of me, then you surely do not know how to use your brain. ☺️
It will be a long post, so I will put the simple summary first.
I do not see Yuamu and Zuweejou as being wrong by getting in the way of Velgearians' resurrection.
I never saw Yuamu or Zuweejou for being wrong when she got in the way of Velgearians resurrection for saving Yuuga or his future. Why? In my head, Velgearians' extinction was the same as a human death, which means it was just the fate of all living creatures. Just because they were aliens, that does not mean they should be living eternally even though they do live long. Of course, they vanished in a different way from how humans are, and the phenomenon was just too sudden as they vanished in mass. But, even though humans die when there is a plague or epidemic, was it natural to resurrect them if there were a way to? If that really happened, there would be so much pro and contra since resurrecting dead people was morally questionable. Back again, just because Velgearians were aliens did not mean they could be treated differently from humans. If they all should be resurrected just because there was a way to, then what difference between them and plants??
It was not like I was against them being resurrected, but for me, not helping the resurrection was also not wrong. Hence, I could not bring myself to accuse Yuamu and Zuweejou for standing in Yuudias' way. If they had any wrongdoings, it was just when they turned their back on their friends without any proper talk. That's all.
And also, Yuamu did have another reason for getting into Velgearians' resurrection. She wanted to protect Kuyamuya, who had become like a family to her, and I see nothing wrong with her reason. What made Kuyamuya or Yuuga different or less important than Velgearians? Just because Velgearians are winning in number does not mean Yuuga or Kuyamuya is less important. I did not mention Sabhuath and the others because they were born after Yuamu made her resolution.
Also, I like Yuamu in her Dark Meister arc, but that does not mean I completely support her in doing evil things. I just like how she could stand on her own and choose her own road.
Talking about Zuweejou, just because he did not help to resurrect Velgearians, it did not mean he was a traitor. Anyone who watched GR must know that Zuweejou is unique, and has a different way of viewing things. He also values what he believes strongly. As Zuweejou believed death was a good thing to prove them as living creatures, he had the right to keep his belief by not helping the resurrection. It was not like he was killing them. They had already vanished, and please read again about how I view their extinction. Then, was it not better for Zuweejou to just kill himself again after his resurrection? Just because he did not do it, I did not think he would be against it if he were about to vanish again. For me, he just seemed like believing there was another purpose for his resurrection, and at that point, Zuweejou believed he was there to protect Yuamu, who wanted to be Otes. Again, I did not see Zuweejou as a hypocrite for standing against the resurrection or even feeling inferior to Yuudias. This man is just unique and has his own way of doing things. Even Zuweejou was conflicted when he was put in situations he did not anticipate: his resurrection, Yuuhi becoming Otes, and being thrown back to the Sengoku Period.
Anyway, Yuamu and Zuweejou were not wrong for not helping their friends with Velgearian's resurrection since it was not like they were the reason for the extinction itself or wishing for it. Zuweejou might see it as a good thing, but I believe it was not like he would have chosen the extinction if he had choices before it happened. He did make Mhuda and Dinois helped him, but it was on their consent. At that point, Zuweejou thought there was no way to prevent it, so he made the choice, and those two gave their consent to help him. Then, Zuweejou should at least resurrect them, right? No. Feeling grateful and resurrecting dead creatures are different things for me. Especially when you have to sacrifice other living creatures to do that. It was just like Zuweejou when he was trying to take earthdamar to make Velgearians living things; it was completely wrong. For example, if there were humans who believe there is nothing wrong with resurrecting their dead relatives, there were also humans who saw that ethically wrong and the pro one should not force the contra one to agree with them. And if a human did resurrect from death, does it mean they should try to resurrect others, too? People might have different opinions, but I do not think Zuweejou have any obligation to resurrect his countrymen just because he was given a new life. The resurrection itself was against his will anyway—even though he did not verbally refuse it.
Then, Yuamu, who wanted to be Otes and bring chaos, were wrong, right? No. For her, Yuuga, and other people, Otes was a being that ceased to exist and just because she did not become one, it did not mean the chaos would not happen. She just prevents her descendant from being the one to do that. Yuamu chose to become the antagonist, so her precious descendant from being the antagonist. It was not like she was excited to become one.
Okay, anyway, I just hope you get that. I did not see anyone from DME making dead mistakes or being complete antagonists. For me, Yuudias's side and DME's side just had different views and choices. And you have to notice that resurrecting Velgearians on the DME arc meant you should sacrifice Darkmen, so actually supporting Yuudias did not make people righteous heroes. Just because Velgearians seemed like people from the good side and DME was like the antagonist of the arc, sacrificing Darkmen for Velgearians does not sound right to me.
And I did not like the idea of attacking Zuweejou just because I wanted to defend Yuamu. What is there to defend or attack? I am a peculiar one who could not even think they were standing on the wrong side—even though I did get pissed at Zuweejou sometimes after his something episode. I had my time when I watched the show without thinking of anything and did not even suspect Dark Meister for being Yuamu, but even at that time, I did not think Zuweejou was doing anything wrong …. So, yea, I defended him not because I was too biased by Yuamu.
I typed that spontaneously so it might be messy, but I hope you get what I want to say. I have characters I do not really like, but I hate the idea of attacking any characters, putting aside whether I dislike them or not. If you are the one to attack characters whenever you like, please at least stop doing that in front of me. Thank you.

I think the reason Darkmen resurrected after Yuudi's Sengoku time slip was that most of the Velgearians vanished after the war. Dang. But I think Zuwee was at least alive since I believe in his power in war, and he is not weaker than Yuudi. He was born to battle after all. Myuda and Dino might still be alive too since I believe Zuwee still have that part of him who values his subordinate. He always put himself before his countrymen WHEN THEY ARE ALIVE, after all.
Anyway, about Yuuga who was talking to the screen, someone might really be sitting beside him, but now I started to suspect that it was Luke's seat. But, then, does that mean Yuuga realize the existence of the people behind the television screen? Or was he talking to his friends?? 🤣
And, seriously, was it just me, or did I not see Damamu at the last time skip?
