Story

Twin siblings Oudou Yuuhi and Oudou Yuamu live in Mutsuba City, where they manage a (dubiously successful) alien extermination agency called the UTS (UFO Trouble Society) from their school. Yuuhi spends his days developing complex alien detection equipment, searching tirelessly to no avail...until one fateful day!!

Seeing smoke billowing from a freshly made crop circle, Yuuhi and Yuamu discover their first real life spaceship. The two cautiously approach the ship, wherein they have a close encounter with an alien from the faraway Belgar Star Cluster, Yuudias!!

Chasing after his companion from their home galaxy, Yuudias wishes to guide Earth toward the new future of "Rush Dueling" - this is the motivation behind these strange circumstances.

Yuudias removes his human disguise and challenges Yuuhi to a Rush Duel, despite being a beginner.

And so, the first interstellar cultural exchange between school boy and alien begins through Rush Duel......!!

It's time to enter the next phase of Rush Duelling, introduced by one interstellar warrior from the far reaches of space! Let's go, GO Rush!!

The 8th Yu-Gi-Oh! TV Anime Series "GO RUSH!!" Set for April 2022

    It is officially revealed today that the eighth TV series from the Yu-Gi-Oh! anime franchise, entitled Yu-Gi-Oh! GO RUSH!!, is set to premiere on TV Tokyo and its affiliates in April 2022. This will be the first time in the franchise that the protagonist is an alien. Following the ongoing seventh series Yu-Gi-Oh! SEVENS, which has been aired in Japan since April 2020, the eighth series will be directed by Nobuhiro Kondo and produced by Bridge. 

  The story takes place in Rokuyo-cho, the birthplace of the Rush Duel. One day, Yuhi Oudou and Yuamu Oudou, two elementary school siblings who run a UTS (Uchuzin Trouble Soudansho / Alien Trouble Consultation Office) to get rid of annoying aliens, discover a spaceship, and when they step into it, they find an alien named Yudias Belgyar (This spelling may not be correct), who comes from the faraway Belgyar Cluster. He has come to Earth in search of the Rush Duel, which is said to lead his friends to a new future after they were forced to leave their home planet, but he has no idea what the Rush Duel is. Yuhi decides to give him a hand, and challenges Yudias to a duel.

Natsuki Hanae, Fairouz Ai Join the Duelers of the Upcoming Yu-Gi-Oh! GO RUSH!! TV Anime

  At AnimeJapan today, more duelers (well, one dueler and one cat) for the upcoming Yu-Gi-Oh! GO RUSH!! TV anime was revealed, with Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba's Natsuki Hanae and JoJo's Fairouz Ai joining the cast lineup for the eighth Yu-Gi-Oh! anime series. Alongside the voice artists, their characters setting art was also released.

Japan's Top Cosplayer Enako Joins the Cast of the Yu-Gi-Oh! GO RUSH!! TV Anime

  We've had card games on motorcycles, we've had card cards with dice, and even card games in school, but now the games head to space, with aliens coming down to Earth to get their card games fix in the eighth series of Yu-Gi-Oh!, titled Yu-Gi-Oh! GO RUSH!! Ahead of the series' broadcast next month, it was announced that Japanese cosplay superstar Enako will be joining the cast, as well as revealing the premiere date and opening and ending theme songs and their performers.

  Enako will be voicing the magical sheep monster girl Meegu-chan in her first full-length role in an anime after only doing bit parts here and there.

    Performing the opening theme song for Yu-Gi-Oh! GO RUSH!! "Shinkiro (Mirage)" is 4-piece band Frederic, with Saeki YouthK performing the ending theme song "One Way."
