#the long way to a small angry planet#ooo yes#i like the aeluons as the like#elves of space in this setting#everyone thinks they're hot and cool and great and idk i think i rock with them still being a little too inhuman and the scales showing up#even if i can see someone drawing them to look more like greys and riffing that they're the first contact humans get with the gc#fingers crossed for friendly quelins and harmagians in later books#i think all these aliens have the capacity to be friend shaped :'o

I love when a character wants to be someone's dog so so bad. Dont mean it in a sexual way (although that can also be a part of it) I mean like. Let me be your loyal companion let me stay by your side give me a purpose in exchange for endless unconditional love let me stop being a person love me like it's my only use.
