My take on Lagoonafire! 💙💚

I don't hate the OG Lagoonafire design, (except for the hair omg.) It might be that I've been staring at this design for too long, but I love the design I came up with. The outfit, shoes, and makeup were SO fun to research and render.

This officially concludes my redesign of the Freaky Fusion ghouls! It was such a fun ride. What a great way to end this little series.

My (very rough) sketches of a Lagoonafire redesign! I've put a LOT of research and time into this ghoul. I tried basing her on a Leafy Sea Dragon, as well as Chinese Dragons' associations with water and storms.

I still have to refine the silhouette and render the sketch, but I'm currently in love with this design! I hope you guys are too! But lemme know what you think.

My take on Clawvenus! 💜💚

Man, was this ghoul hard to design! I tried combining elements from G1 Clawdeen qnd G3 Venus, since I think those designs are stunning, (and work better together!)

I think some part of my design may still be unbalanced. But, when I look at the OG design, suddenly I don't feel so bad 😅

Least Favorite Part: Girl, what is going on with that hair? In the movie, I get what they were going for. But in doll form? Nuh uh

Favorite Part: The leaf ears and gold vines are really clever. Looking at them now, I wish I made the vines gold instead of green.

It's baffling to me how much the people around me struggle to communicate anything. That's supposed to be my job! You would think the weird, nerdy neurodivergent girl would struggle to reach out to others. Nope!

Friends, jobs, colleagues, interview requests, you name it! I feel like I'm trapped in this little bubble and have no hope of anyone popping it.

It's been making motivation so hard to come by. I just feel so alone no matter what I do...

I'm autistic and I currently feel like shit checklist

Hi there. Are you autistic? Do you currently feel like shit and don't know why? Try this checklist to see if you can Fix The Problem!

When was the last time you used the bathroom? If you answered "I don't know" or "at least 3 hours ago", go now!

Do you need a drink? Go get one if you don't have one in front of you.

When was the last time you ate? If you haven't eaten yet today, consider eating A Meal, or perhaps A Snack. Something is better than nothing, eat whatever you feel able to!

Is there something in your immediate surroundings that is bothering you? If the light is too bright, turn it off. If there is an annoying sound, make the sound stop or reduce your ability to hear it (earplugs, headphones, etc.). If your clothes are bothering you, change them.

Is your space messy? Pick one area of your room and clean it up as best you can. Clean your whole room if you have the energy!

When was the last time you did An Activity? Scrolling on social media doesn't count. Try actively doing something fun! Play a game you like, read a book, make something, or go for a walk.

When was the last time you Spoke to a Person? Consider talking to a person you like if it has been a while.

How long has it been since you did something Special Interest related? Make some time to do that today. Infodump to a friend, have a nice long research session, look at related images or gifs, make art about it, whatever works best for you!

Try stimming actively! Put on some music and dance, spin in circles, go to the park and use the swings!

If you still feel like shit after trying all of these things, you might be tired or sick. Go to bed early and get some rest. Hopefully you will feel better tomorrow!

I don't know about you guys, but when I'm just feeling so down and worthless, it becomes so hard to draw. It's as if all of my lines are totally wrong. They're shakey in places we're they're not supposed to be. But then they're stiff in the worst spots. When I can't get something to look right, it sometimes makes my mood worse.

Long story short, I'm starting SO sick of being alone in college. There's being understanding to when people aren't free, and then there's feeling rejected no matter what you do. I'm scared that it's my fault. Maybe there's something I need to fix about me, and then I can finally never be alone again on a Friday night and r ecieve the love I need.

Still, FINALLY got a digital sketch in for Clawvenus. In a perfect world, I could get it done by Monday?? But school has been ramping up and I'm already behind on exams... UGH!

School has been crazy busy, and I've been sick for the past couple of days too. I'm just truckin' along. I've been working on the Clawvenus design, and I can't wait to post some sketches and the final design eventually...

I think it would be SO cute to redesign a monster high line annually in celebration of the Halloween season!

It was a total coincidence that I was re-doing the Freaky Fusion line in October. But I think I'll keep it up!

Inktober has never really worked well with my drawing habits anyway... Massive kudos to the talented artists that can. I'm just not one of them! :/

A total improvement imo. I could go on and on about the flaws with these dolls, especially Cleolai here. But I'll keep it brief for your guys' sake.

Least favorite part: That HIDEOUS jumpsuit oml. That's a pattern Cleo nor Torelai would be caught dead in.

Side note: Why does Cleolai have purple hair? Where did that come from??

Favorite Part: The jacket and accessories. There're cute! That's why I didn't change them too much in my redesign
