Incels cannot comprehend that anyone would care about their personality beyond their looks, because they think everyone is as shallow as they are. They would never consider dating a woman based on her personality.

They treat women they're not attracted to like garbage. They treat all women like garbage, but they frequently reject women who they consider beneath their standards.

All the while bemoaning that no one will give them a chance because of their looks.

They constantly fantasize about a system in which the government assigns them a wife appropriate to their standards, because they do not care about her personality or who she is.

They are invested in appearances only. And so they cannot imagine that anyone would seriously care about their personalities.

The rejection they experience gets rationalized as women being too shallow, because it's a projection of how shallow they are. Those are the only parameters they see the world through, so that must be how others see them.

This is why most attempts to help them fail. Because it isn't really just about their own self esteem. It's their inability to adjust their shallow attitudes towards others.

They don't just need help learning to love themselves, they need deprogramming from the toxic way they see the world.

As a Facebook runaway, I just wanna say that it's very cool that Tumblr will let me say mean things about billionaires.
