Below are 3 websites that I find not as mobile friendly for different reasons. The websites are Zara.com, Aliexpress.com, and Etsy.com.
With Zara I find their website confusing and hard to use. The home page is various photos that don鈥檛 do a good job of highlighting products just mainly images of models in clothing. There鈥檚 no CTA or anywhere I feel is following to the next step in the purchase process.
AliExpress is simply too overwhelming. There鈥檚 too much going on. Nothing specific is being highlighted and their are various random items in the home page.
Etsy isn鈥檛 as bad in my opinion compared to these too but it鈥檚 still not very inviting or enticing. The home page shows many various product collections and an option to shop all.
The website I thought was very mobile friendly is Apple.com. I would hope apple would be mobile friendly since they sell just that - phones. Their website was super engaging and interactive. As you scroll the colors change and move with you. When looking at the new iPhones it slowly changes to show you each new color. This itself made me want to purchase the phone.

Here are two examples of brands engaging with their audience. The first one is Starbucks with their mobile application, I am able to gain rewards through their customer loyalty program to redeem points for free items and I have a personalized experience. The second example is Women's Best, an athletic brand that sent me a personalized email marketing campaign to notify me of their 70% off sale.

Igram is where I download UGC from Instagram to repost to our accounts. I noticed an ad for cyber security and thought it was a great move for a site like this since the people using it are using the internet searching for sites like this which can be sketchy at times.

Shopping on Sephora has never been easier. I now prefer using the app over the desktop version because it feels more personalized to me.
