a bit late but in honor of hypochondriac’s 1 year anniversary i made some brakence inspired art :D this album has been a huge inspiration to me and i’m very grateful for its existence <3

I struggle with separating layers when there's vocals, and wow. I really didn't think I could love this album any more than I already did. But being able to hear all the little details just makes it all the more magical.

My brakence merch is in transit and I am beyond excited y'all. The most I've spent on myself in ages, and it's totally worth it!!!

Fav things from hypochondriac pt2:

The constant push and pull of caffeine's tempo simulating actually drinking caffeine throughout the day

The background vocals/lyrics in venus fly trap (if you haven't listened with headphones, you should it's so good)

The transition from cbd to stung!! I still can't believe how smooth it is

The entirety of 5g, just, all of it. It'll probably be my no. 1 song on Spotify this year and it's only January.

The softness of hypochondriac that ties everything together and makes me wanna relisten to the whole album to experience the journey again

Honestly, bless the people who post brakence concert footage. He didn't come to my state, so I throw the videos on and dance around when I'm sad about it lol.

Some fav moments from the brakence album:

When in argyle, after he first sings "I just wanna be dead", in the background he says "don't be that brash"

The lyrical motifs throughout the album such as the hypochondriac line and him talking about his "ego popping"

The fakeout in introvert when you think he's gonna have a "rosier" moment, but he pulls back

"Tell me, how do you do what you love when you're sick in the brain?"

Anytime he uses his voice instrumentally, whether percussive or drone (same goes for the samples he uses)
