You ever read a fanfiction so, so fucking good that when you're done reading it, you're kinda disoriented? Like the place you were reading it in seems unfamiliar because the story sucked you into the fucking fifth dimension with how good it was? Unparalleled feeling.
Fanfic writers are an absolute gift to humanity.

concept: I can speak several languages fluently and with ease.
reality: I switched to Spanish in the middle of my Polish essay and didn’t notice until it was finished. accidentally respond to people in different languages than they asked me the question in. keep incorporating Latin into my English, expecting others to understand me. mix languages, creating unholy words such as der Krankenitsa or el libríon. stop in the middle of a conversation, frustrated I remember the word in like 6 tongues but not the one i’m currently using. shortly: i’m a mess.

ig: herdrafts I usually study languages in the mornings at the weekend, I have more time to focus on learning and I also have more alone-time which I often do crave. My routine is almost the same; after making coffee and had breakfast I open my textbook and I start writing down the new lesson. This time I decided that I had to study Japanese, also I wanted to watch some subtitled anime episodes for listening practice. Don’t you think that Japanese sounds really cute?

ig: herdrafts Learning grammar is the most annoying part for me, but also necessary to avoid common grammar mistakes in the writing. I found Chinese grammar easier? than Japanese, but the pronunciation it is not, actually both have strong and weak points but it all depends on your study method.

This morning I woke up early, had a coffee and studied Chinese. I’ve finished my second notebook and started a new one, a plain ruled A4, the perfect size to write down the dialogues and few grammar notes below. I’ve added a small notebook for new words also, i feel so productive today!
How’s your day? ☀️
