Back Again
Here it is! There might be a second part, but I haven't decided. Anyway, I hope you all enjoy! (The flashback is in italics) Let me know what you think!
You sighed as you drove through the town you used to call home. You looked around noticing how nothing had changed. You loved this town, but you had to leave. You couldn’t stay after what happened. Your heart broke a bit as you thought about him. You couldn’t believe he kept something like that from you. You were together for six years and his old lady for five. You sighed as you thought about the day you found out, which was also the day you left.
~
“You’re what!” You yelled looking at him. He sighed and looked at you. You were in complete and utter shock. There were no words to describe how you were feeling. All you knew was that you wanted to throw up. You paced around his room at the clubhouse trying to process what just happened. His wife just showed up at the clubhouse with their daughter.
“Look, lass, I know this is a lot-” Chibs started but you interrupted him.
“A lot? Chibs, you’re married! And have a daughter!” You screamed throwing your hands out to your sides as you stopped pacing to face him. He winced at the use of his nickname leaving your mouth. You never called him Chibs. He nodded tried to come closer to you but you backed away from him. Having you back away from him but he also understood why.
“Please, would ya just listen?” He tried. You gave him a single nod. “Yes I am married, yes I have a daughter, but it’s not what ya think. The only reason I’m still married to her is to protect them. I won’t put them in danger, just like I wouldn’t put you in danger. No I’m not in love with Fiona, but I love my daughter, lass. I won’t have her in any situation where she could get hurt.”
You understood that, you knew what came with being involved with the club. You knew as soon as you became Chibs’ old lady, there would be risks but you knew he would keep you safe. That part you understood.
“But you kept it from me. Everyone else knew, but you kept it from me.” You were quiet now. The hurt setting in. “We’ve been together for six years and not once did you tell me about it. You tell me everything, Filip. At least I thought you did.” You sighed looking down to the ring that adorned your finger. Chibs felt his heart drop. You looked up at him with teary eyes. “We were never going to get married were we?” His heart shattered hearing you talk about the two of you as if it was over.
“Of course we are, love. As soon as we get things settled with the Irish and get rid of Jimmy O’ I’m all yours.” You shook your head. With tears cascading down your face you, slipped the ring off. Chibs couldn’t take it anymore. “I love you. Ya can’t leave me, lass.”
“I love you, Filip, but you lied to me. It wasn’t something small either. You didn’t tell me about your wife and daughter. I don’t know if I can trust you again.” You looked him in the eye as the words left your mouth. Tears brimmed his eyes. You lifted your hands to cup his cheeks. Standing on your toes you kissed him. He brought his hands to your hips and squeezed a bit. You pulled away when you need to breathe. “I love you, Filip Telford.”
“And I love you.” Tears were streaming down both your faces. You dropped your hands from his face and took one of his hands in yours. You placed your ring in his palm and closed his hand around it. You let his hands go and walked out of the door and out of his life.
~
It happened three years ago. You swore the day you left you would never come back, but here you were and no because you wanted to be. You started to get nervous as the garage came into view. You hoped that the guys were on a run and wouldn’t be there, at least not yet. As you pulled in you were relieved to see all the bikes were gone. You parked your car and shut the engine off. You sat there for a minute gathering every ounce of courage you had before opening your door. You weren’t sure how long you sat there but it wasn’t until you heard a soft yawn you turned around. You smiled at your daughter, she was just waking up. You smiled when she looked at you.
“Hi, baby, did you have a good nap?” She nodded rubbing her eyes. You couldn’t help the small laugh that left your lips. She was so much like her dad. She had the same dark hair and dark eyes, all she had of you was your nose, but you were fine with that. “Are you ready to go meet one of momma’s friends, baby?” She nodded again. “Okay, let’s go.”
You got out and opening the back door to get to her. You unbuckled her and lifted her out. You placed her on your hip as you shut the door. She yawned leaning her head against your shoulder. You smiled at her as she hid her face in your neck still not ready to wake up. You kissed her forehead and made your way to the office. Not knowing if they were busy you knocked on the door as you approached it.
“Come in!” You smiled at the voice. You opened the door to see Gemma sitting at her desk. “What’s the problem?” Figuring it was someone with car trouble, she didn’t even look up from her papers as she asked.
“I’ve got a lot of those, which do you want to hear first?” You smirked. Gemma’s head snapped up hearing your voice. She smiled at you and you smiled back. She noticed the little girl in her arms and smiled even wider. She stood up making her way to you.
“Hey, baby, it’s been a while,” she said bringing you into a hug. You hugged her back trying not to jostle your daughter.
“Hey, ma, it really has.” She pulled back to look at you and then looked down at your little girl.
“She’s a cutie.”
“She is.” You looked down at her as well. You noticed her peeking her head out a bit to look at the person you were talking to. “Do you want to say hi, baby?” She quickly hid her face in your neck again. You and Gemma both laughing at her reaction. “She’s usually not shy, but she just woke up from her nap. She might fall back asleep actually.”
“Don’t you worry about it. Come on in, sit down.” She motioned to the couch she still had. You sat down adjusting your daughter on your lap and Gemma sat across from you. “You know I’m happy to see you, but why are you back, sweetheart?” You sighed knowing you could never keep anything from Gemma.
“I wanted her to meet her dad,” You said motioning to the little girl in your lap, who had fallen asleep again. “I couldn’t keep her from him, not more than I already have.”
“What’s the other reason?” She knew you too well.
“On my way here, someone started following me. I don’t know who, but they were in a black SUV. They’ve been following me for two days. I lost them on the way here though. I haven’t had anything to do with the club since I left, Gem, I have no idea what’s going on or who they would be.”
“Shit.” Gemma muttered as she leaned back in her seat. “I might know, but we’ll have to wait for the boys to get back.” You nodded knowing you would have to see him at some point. “Come on, let’s take the little one inside and we can catch up.” She stood up and you followed trying not to move too much so your daughter could still sleep. Once you succeeded you followed Gemma into the club house to wait on the boys.
~
You were sitting at the bar with Gemma when you heard the thrumming of motorcycles. Your heart sped up the closer they got. Gemma patted your hand that was sitting on the bar holding your bottle of water. You looked to Gemma with scared eyes. She gave you a soft smile.
“I’ll go check on the little one.” She stood up giving your hand a squeeze before making her way back to the dorms. All you could do was nod. About the time Gemma rounded the corner, the door to the clubhouse opened. You couldn’t bring yourself to turn around. You only heard one set of footsteps coming inside. You crossed your fingers hoping it was one of the other guys. You turned around to see Bobby. He stopped and looked at you.
“Aren’t you a sight for sore eyes.” He smiled and made his way to you. You smiled back giving him a hug.
“It’s good to see you, too, Bobby.”
“So what brings you back here? We didn’t think we would see you again,” He said. You sighed nodding.
“I wasn’t planning on coming back, but I needed to talk to him.” Bobby nodded.
“Well, he should be here in a bit they were still talking when we pulled in.” About the time he finished all the guys walked in. You looked up and locked eyes with the Scotsman you ran from three years ago. No one said anything feeling the tension in the air. You were about to say something when you heard the soft cries of your little girl. You turned to see Gemma walking to you with your daughter in her arms. You immediately made your way to them.
“She woke up and couldn’t find you.” Gemma whispered.
“Oh, I didn’t go anywhere, baby. Momma’s right here.” You gathered her in your arms, beginning to rock her. She looked up at you sniffling and rubbing her eyes.
“Momma?” Her little voice squeaked.
“Hi, sweet girl.” She sat up straighter and put her hands on your cheeks.
“My momma,” She said again looking at you. You turned your head to kiss her hand. “Your momma, baby.” She smiled at you settling down in your arms. You rubbed her back helping her calm down a bit more. You almost forgot about your audience until someone cleared their throat. You turned looked at the guys behind you. You turned to see the same Scotsman staring at you with wide eyes. You couldn’t get any words out and neither could he.
“I think you two should talk,” Gemma stated. You nodded at her. You looked down at your daughter.
“Do you want to go outside with Aunt Gemma for a few minutes, sweetie? I need to talk with my friend.” She looked at Gemma and then at you. You could see she was a little nervous. “I’ll be right there, baby, okay?”
“Okay, momma.” You sat her down and she took Gemma’s hand. You watched as the two left and the others followed her out, you assumed they wanted to meet your little girl. Finally you looked to Chibs.
“So I need to tell you something.”
“Aye, ya do. Would you care to explain why you’re here and a wee one with ya?” He was shocked and angry and happy all at the same time but his tone came across as angry. He saw your eyes harden.
“Listen, Filip Telford, I don’t need that tone from you. I’ve had a long few days and I’m scared shitless for my daughter and I don’t need shit from you.” He was taken aback by your tone. Yes, he had seen you mad before but it had been a long time, it still shocked him. “I left because you lied to me, you don’t get to interrogate me, Filip.”
“You’re right, lass. I’m sorry. What brought you back?” Chibs took on a quieter tone.
“I wanted you to meet your daughter. I didn’t want to keep her from you more than I already had. She needs her dad, Filip.” You sighed looking at the man who still held your heart.
“She’s mine?”
“Yeah, she is. I found out a few weeks after I left.” You crossed your arms looking down at your feet. You heard his footsteps come closer. He tipped your face up to look at him.
“I’m a dad again?” He asked with tears in his eyes. You couldn’t help but tear up as well.
“Yeah, you are.” Without thinking he kissed you. It shocked you at first but you melted into it. You still loved him and he still loved you. you could feel it. He pulled back after a bit.
“Thank you. Thank you for bringing her here. I can’t wait to meet her.” You smiled at him.
“I can’t wait for you to meet her either.” He smiled back at you. You stood there for a bit when he realized something.
“What’s her name?”
“Aria, Aria Telford.”
“I love it.” He looked at you, he couldn’t believe you were back. “Wait, ya said you were scared for the two of you. Why?” You pulled back and sucked in a breath.
“I started down here so you could meet, Aria, but a couple days ago someone started following me. I lost them when I started getting close, but I scared me. He followed us for two days, Filip. Two days.” You started to get worked up again. He wrapped his arms around you, trying to calm you down.
“It’s okay, I’ll take care of ya, both of ya.” You wrapped your arms around him and breathed him in. You had missed him so much.
“I’m sorry.” You whispered into his shoulder. He pulled back to look at you but kept his arms around you.
“For what?” You looked into those eyes you had missed so much.
“For keep her from you. And for leaving.” You shook your head when you went to interrupt. “After having Aria, I understand why and why you didn’t tell me. I’m sorry.”
“Don’t be, I should have told ya.” You just looked at him.
“I’m glad I’m back.”
“I’m glad ya are, too.” The both of you knew without saying anything that you would try again. You had always known you didn’t want to be without him. He knew he didn’t want to be without you either. “So, can I meet my daughter?” The smile on his face was contagious. You smiled back.
“Absolutely.” You took his hand and walked outside so Chibs could meet his little girl.

I had known the Winchesters since they saved my ass on a vamp hunt seven years ago. I started hunting with them all the time about four years ago which was when I moved into the bunker with them. They had never been in the room I stayed in either I didn’t let anyone in there. It was my safe place. I never planned on letting anyone in there even after I started dating Dean about a year ago. Even if I didn’t sleep in there anymore I still kept it locked. He would ask me about it but I would avoid the question or just shrug it off. Sometimes he would not leave it alone and today was one of those days.
“Come on, Y/N, why won’t you let me see it?” He begged. I had just come out of my room and locked the door.
“I just don’t want anyone to see okay. It’s a safe place for me.” I said walking into the library.
“I thought I was?”
“You are but I need somewhere to go when we argue or fight and I don’t want anyone in there. Is that so hard to understand?” I sighed and sat at one of the tables. Dean sat down beside me but wouldn’t let it go.
“Please, baby? I’m just curious; I don’t even know what’s in there. You could have an ex-boyfriend in there for all I know.”
“Can you leave it alone please? I might show you one day but then again I might not okay?” I said and put I head in my hands. Dean started to rub little circles between my shoulders like he always did when I started to get aggravated.
“Okay, I’ll drop it. I’m sorry.”
“You don’t have anything to be sorry about, I promise. It’s just part of who I was before I started hunting and I like to keep it up, that’s all okay?” I said as I grabbed his hand and gave it a quick squeeze. I smiled a little and so did he. He knew I didn’t talk about my life before hunting so telling him what it was from he seemed to understand a little better.
“Alright, but I needed to tell you something before I started asking you about your room. Sammy and I are leaving for a hunt in a couple hours and before you say anything it’s a small one that we can handle. So you stay here and do whatever it is you do in your mystery room.” He said with a laugh.
“Okay, how long are you going to be gone?”
“A couple days at most, it looks like a salt and burn.” I nodded. He kissed my temple and grabbed my hand. “We’ll be okay, so don’t start worrying when we haven’t even left yet.” He said with a laugh.
“I know, I know, but it’s what I do.” I laughed back.
“Yeah, yeah, come one, help me pack please?” He asked. I laughed and got up still holding his hand and helped him pack for the hunt.
A couple hours later I was hugging him and Sam bye. “Be careful or when you come back I’ll kick both of your asses.” I said as I hugged Sam. He laughed.
“Yeah we know. We won’t be long.” He hugged me back and got in the Impala. Dean walked over to me. I stood on my toes and kissed him.
“We’ll be back in a couple of days. Call if you need us yeah?” he said and hugged me. I hugged back.
“You know I will. Now go on so you can get home faster.” I said laughing. I looked up and saw those gorgeous green eyes I fell for. He leaned down and kissed me again and then he let me go and got in the car with his brother. I watched them drive off and went back inside.
I walked down the hall to my room and unlocked it. I knew I would spend most of my time in here while they were gone. I loved this room. What they didn’t know was that I was constantly painting in here. I was either painting on the walls, or on an easel, or even drawing. I had an art gallery with my best friend before I started hunting and I loved it. It was my passion and everything I could ever want, until my best friend was killed by a Djinn. That happened about three years before I met the Winchesters. Since then I tried to keep art in my life which was hard to do traveling all the time. When I started living with the Winchesters it was easier to do.
I walked in and put my music on; I didn’t bother shutting the door since it was just me. I looked around trying to decide what I wanted to do. I had some of my favorite quotes I was doing before Dean came and got me. I loved painting quotes. I would paint something I knew went along with it and then paint the quote across it but you could still see the art behind it. I decided I was going to keep doing that. I still had about ten or so I wanted to do. One of my favorites was an excerpt from a Robert Frost poem. I thought it described what I did perfectly. Hunting now has made all the difference, for me at least. If I hadn’t I would never have met Dean. I wouldn’t have a best friend like Sam either. They were my family and I knew exactly what I was going to be the background.
————
I was still working on the background the next day when I got a call from Sam.
“Hey, Sammy, what’s up?” I said putting my brush down.
“Hey, Y/N, we finished up earlier than we thought, we should be home in a few hours.”
“Sounds good, do you want me to have something ready for you all when you get here?” I asked.
“No, we’re good, we’ll see you soon.”
“Alright, be careful. Tell Dean to slow his ass down, I know he’s speeding.” I said with a laugh. Sam laughed too and I heard Dean grumble. I hung up the phone and got back to work. I put my brush back in my mouth while I tried to figure out what else to do.
I had an empty wall so I decided to use most of it far this particular piece. I had been looking at some pictures I had taken with the boys over the years and painted those onto the wall along with some from when they were younger, laughed and completely oblivious to what was out there. I knew they would never see it and it meant something to me when I looked at it. I loved seeing them smile, which was rare considering what we do every day. Then I knew exactly what else I needed. I had seen a picture somewhere of when they were younger with their dad and I knew of one with their mom. That was exactly what this needed. I set off to find the pictures and when I did I ran back to my room and got to work.
————–
I didn’t realize how long I had been working. I had my music turned up and I was in the zone. I wanted to get it done before Sam and Dean got back but what I didn’t realize was that they had been back for close to an hour and they had been watching me for the better part of that hour. I didn’t hear them come in I didn’t even feel them staring at me like I usually did. I had finished with the pictures about the time they got there and was just finishing up the excerpt of the poem when I turned to get some more paint on my brush. That’s when I saw them. My eyes went wide. I didn’t know what do to so I just stood there frozen. I had mixed emotions about them standing there. I was mad because I felt violated but I was glad that they finally saw what I did in here all the time. I stood there for a minute a more before I found my voice.
“What are you guys doing?” I asked just above a whisper. They looked at me and then behind me to the wall I was painting and then back to me. “How long have you been standing there?” I asked a little louder this time. Sam was the first one to speak.
“Y/N, this is incredible.” He said as he stepped further inside and looked around my room. Dean was still looking at the wall behind me. I didn’t know what he’d think; actually I was scared to know. I didn’t know how he’d feel about me using a picture of him and mom. I was expecting him to be mad. Instead of saying anything he looked at me and walked slowly over to me. He grabbed me and hugged me. We stayed like that for a while. I didn’t notice when Sam left but he knew this was a moment for just me and Dean. When he finally let me go I looked into his eyes that seemed to be a little brighter now.
“Why didn’t you tell me about this?” He asked barely above a whisper.
“I don’t know honestly. I just liked having a safe haven you know.” He nodded and looked behind me again. I didn’t know if he was looking at the quote or the pictures behind it or both. He looked back at me.
“He’s right you know?” He said with a laugh. I just looked at him confused. “The road I travel did make all the difference.” I smiled at him. He knew I loved Robert Frost and I’m surprised he remembered this particular poem.
“Damn straight.” I said and I leaned up to kiss him. I’m not sure if Robert Frost knew about hunting but his words had never been truer about the life I live. I may face danger more than most but I would never choose a different road. The one I picked led me to Dean.
“Two roads diverged in a wood, and I-
I took the one less traveled by,
And that has made all the difference.”

It's been five years since I left hunting and left the only family I ever knew. I wanted to stay but I couldn’t and I knew it. I missed the Winchesters, especially Sam. I fell in love with the younger Winchester about a year after we met. I still love him but I couldn’t tell him, not now anyway. I told him once and that was it. It all happened one night when I knew I could never tell him. One night after a hunt we got drunk and we slept together. The thought still made my heart ache.
*Flashback*
‘I’m gonna tell him.’ I thought when I woke up. He was in the shower and I was thinking about what to say and how to say it. A few minutes passed and he stepped out full dressed. His eyes met mine.
“Hey, you’re up.” He said walking toward me.
“Yeah, I just woke up.” I said looking at the sheets covering me.
“Y/N”
“Sam” we said at the same time. We chuckled.
“You first.” I said he gave me his signature puppy dog eyes and I knew this wouldn’t end well for me.
“Y/N, last night, um, it was a mistake. I love you, but as a friend and nothing more. Nothing less.” I willed my tears to stay in my eyes as I looked down again. I finally spoke.
“Yeah, I was thinking the same thing.” I said but my voice betrayed me by cracking at the end. I looked up and I could tell he knew I was lying, he always knew. He reached out to grab my hand but I pulled it back. He looked hurt.
“Y/N…”
“No, Sam, it’s fine, honest. I’ll get my clothes and leave. It’s about time to head back anyway.” I said not making eye contact. I got dressed and went back to my hotel room.
*End Flashback*
I was pulled from my thoughts when I heard a familiar voice.
“Mommy!” I saw my little girl running toward me. I bent down and scooped her up.
“Hi, munchkin, how was school?” I asked as I kissed her cheek.
“It was great! I got to play on the seesaw today!” Her hazel eyes lit up just like her father would when he was excited too.
“No way! That’s awesome, munchkin.” I said and she continued to go on about her day. As I put her in her car seat I heard a familiar rumble that I thought I would never hear again. I looked up and sure enough I saw a black ’67 Chevy Impala. I looked for a minute and accidently made eye contact with Dean whose eyes widened. I quickly turned and finished buckling Mary in, and then I got in as well.
“Momma, can we go eat?”
“Of course, baby. Where do you wanna go?” I asked as I shut my door and started the car.
“Can we go where Aunt Taylor works?”
“Absolutely.” I pulled out and started toward the diner. I looked in my rearview mirror and saw a pair of eye matching my daughter’s watching me drive away.
We got to the diner and sure enough Taylor was there. Taylor has been my best friend since I moved here.
“Aunt Taylor!” Mary yelled when we walked in. The diner wasn’t crowded so she wasn’t too busy.
“Hey, short stuff, what’s going on?” Taylor asked picking her up.
“We’re going to eat, duh!” Taylor laughed at Mary’s tone and so did I. She looked at me and knew something was up. She sat Mary down and gave her some change,
“Here, Go play the machines real quick while I talk to your mom okay?” Do you want mac - n – cheese again?”
“Yeah!” Mary said and took the change. Taylor walked over to me.
“Okay, what’s going on?” She asked while we watched Mary.
“I saw him.” That was all I said. It was quiet for a minute. And then it clicked.
“Wait, her father?” Taylor asked as she turned to face me again. “Did he see you?”
“I think so. It’s been five years, Taylor. What do I do?” I turned to face her now.
“Tell him if you see him again. He should know what an amazing daughter he has.” She walked away to put our orders in. I sighed. I knew she was right, but how could I face him after the way I left?
*Flashback*
It’s been a month since that night. I didn’t bring it up and neither did he. It was awkward as ever. I didn’t know what to say or do, but I reached my breaking point. I was going to leave. I began packing and was almost finished when a wave of nausea hit me. I ran to the bathroom where I became sick as a dog. When I was finally done I brushed my teeth and grabbed my things in there that I would need. That’s when I came across a box I hadn’t pulled out in a while. Then it hit me. I was late and I was never late.
“Oh crap.”  I pulled out another box I kept just in case something like this happened. I peed on the little stick and waited. I walked back to my bed and finished packing. When I finished I knew it was time to look. There was no going back after this. I walked back in the bathroom and picked up the stick. I turned it over where I was greeted with a little pink plus.
“Dammit.” I said to myself. There was a knock at my door and I ran to my bed and up the stick in my duffle. I went and opened the door to Sam. I immediately shifted my gaze to the floor.
“Hey, Y/N, can we talk?”
“I don’t think that’s a good idea, Sam.” I looked up but he wasn’t looking at me. He was looking over my head to my bed.
“W-Why are your bags packed?” He asked still not looking at me. I looked back to the floor.
“I’m leaving.” I still gazed at the floor but I could feel his eyes on me.
“Did you find a hunt? Dean and I could help.” He said and I looked up. His eyes looked hurt but I still had to go. In the back of my mind I thought ‘I hope my baby gets his eyes’.
“No.” Tears filled my eyes and threatened to spill over. I turned and walked to my bed to get my things.
“Where are you going?” He asked following me into my room.
“I haven’t figured that out yet.” I grabbed my bags and turned to face him.
“Don’t go.” He had tears in his eyes as well.
“I can’t stay, Sam. I have to go.” I started to leave but he stopped me.
“If this is about what happened and what I said –”
“Stop, I get it, I do, but how am I supposed to stay? How am I supposed to stay knowing that you don’t feel the same way about me? Knowing that he man I love doesn’t love me? I love you, Sam Winchester but I can’t stay. I can’t stay here and see you every day knowing what I know. I can’t do it.” My tears finally started to spill and so did his. “Goodbye, Sam”
With that I ran out of the bunker leaving my family and my heart.
*End Flashback*
Mary ran back over to me with two cheap little prizes from the machines.
“Look what I got, Momma!”
“That’s awesome, sweetheart! Come on, let’s go sit down.” I took her hand and we walked to a table in the back
A few minutes later our food came and we ate. Mary played with her little prizes and talked about school some more.
We were almost finished when the bell on the door chimed signaling someone else coming in. I was still paying attention to Mary when they walked in. Then I heard it.
“Y/N?” My eyes were so wide I thought they’d fall out of my head. I slowly turned around and sure enough it was Sam with Dean not far behind him. “Is it really you?” They started toward me. I moved to stand and met them halfway.
“Hey, Sam, hey, Dean.” Dean gave me a hug that only Dean could give. He pulled back and looked at me.
“You’re a sight for sore eyes. I’ve missed you, Y/N.”
“I’ve missed you too, Dean.” Sam just stared at me. I felt a tug at my pant leg, I looked down and so did they.
“Momma, who are they?” I picked Mary up so she could see Sam and Dean better. They looked at me wide eyed.
“These are some old friends of mine. Can you say hi?”
“Hi,” she said and hid her face in my neck.
“Do you just want to sit with us?” I offered and they nodded. We sat there in awkward silence until Taylor took their orders and it was quiet again.
After what seemed like hours, Mary was the one to break the silence.
“Are you superheroes?” she asked facing the two overgrown men sitting in front of us.
“Why are you asking sweetie?” I asked looking down at her.
“They have on suits. That’s what Batman wears before he gets the bad guys.” I smiled and laughed a little at her reasoning. I saw Sam and Dean smile out of the corner of my eye. Dean was the one to answer.
“Yeah, we are.” Mary got excited and started asking questions. Sam looked at me and I knew what he was wondering. She was still asking Dean questions when I turned to face her. I knew if I asked her this it would answer Sam and Dean’s questions they weren’t asking.
“Sweetheart, did you tell them your name?” Sam and Dean looked at me and then at her.
“My name is Mary Ellen Y/L/N.” she said proudly. Their eyes got big again and even a little glassy. They looked at me again and smiled. Dean looked between me and Sam.
“Mary, do you want to see my Bat mobile?” Dean asked knowing Sam and I needed to talk.
“Yeah! Can I, Momma?” She smiled.
“Of course, go with your uncle Dean.” Dean beamed as he looked at me and smiled and then looked at Mary.
“My uncle? Cool!” She said and jumped down out of the chair. Dean picked her up and walked her outside to the Impala. I sat with Sam and he still just looked at me.
“Are you ever going to say anything?” I asked.
“She’s mine?” He finally asked.
“Yes.”
“When did you find out?”
“They day I left.”
“Was that why you left?” His eyes never left mine.
“No, I found out after I had my bags packed.”
“Y/N, I’m so sorry for what I said that morning. I didn’t think I loved you as more than a friend but as soon as you walked out the door I knew I was wrong. When you walked out you took my heart with you and you didn’t even know it. I love you, Y/F/N Y/L/N, and I’m sorry it took you leaving to make me realize that.” Tears were in his eyes and mine were streaming down my face. He got up and walked over to me and sat beside me. “Say something, Y/N, anything.”
“It’s about damn time, Winchester.” I smiled and so did he. He cupped my face and kissed me. he poured everything he had in to the kiss and so did I. He kept kissing me until we needed to breathe. That’s when I heard her.
“Momma, why are you kissing him?” Mary asked. She was still in Dean’s arms and Dean was wearing a huge smile.
“Come here, Mary.” I said and Dean let her down. “This,” I said pointing to Sam, “this is your dad.”
“Really?” She looked at Sam. He looked at his little girl with tears in his eyes.
“Yeah, and if it’s okay with you and your mom I’m going to be around for a long time.” He looked at me and I nodded. Then he looked at Mary and she turned to look at me.
“Is it okay, Momma?”
“It’s okay with me. Is it okay with you?” I asked. Mary smiled and started nodding her head. She turned back to look at her dad.
“Can you teach me how to ride a bike?” She excitedly. I laughed and so did Sam.
“Absolutely.” She jumped up and hugged his neck. She pulled back to look at him again.
“You’re staying right? You’re not going to go anywhere?” she asked staring into the eyes that matched hers. Sam looked at her and smiled.
“I’m not going anywhere.” He looked back up to me. “I promise.”

A/N: I had a day off and decided to write a little something. I lovepoetry and I decided to do a little something that went along with that. I would love some feedback, good or bad it doesn’t matter. Anything is helpful. I hope you all enjoy this.

“We’ll be okay, so don't start worrying when we haven't even left yet.” He said with a laugh.
------------
I was still working on the background the next day when I got a call from Sam.
--------------
I didn’t realize how long I had been working.
