Heyyy modperson here~ I know, I know, this isn’t the kind of thing ya’ll come here for, but we’re really excited for our new project, so we just wanted to let ya’ll know about it. If you love the NPCs of FFXV and are a creator, we’d love to see you over at NPC Week! Or I mean if you’re not a creator it’d be nice if you lurked and watched everyone else make stuff too; I’m not gonna judge. 

And if ya’ll could help us get the word out by reblogging the original post, that’d be sweet too. I promise this won’t make us, uh, any more flaky about these blogs than we already are. We’re just having fun. :)

Why: Have you ever wanted to know what the fruit stand girl is thinking when four dipshits from the crown city wipe out her entire stock? Do you have a story brewing about just what kind of trouble Takka got up to before Cid stuck him at Hammerhead’s diner? Do you just think there’s not enough works about your favorite NPC and you need to make more? Now’s your chance! (And, uh, maybe ours too.)

What: An appreciation week for all the non-player characters of FFXV, including Kingsglaive and Brotherhood characters. This is mostly meant to encourage content for characters that don’t really get much (or anything) made for them, but works for any character outside of the five main player characters (Noctis, Ignis, Prompto, Gladio, and your Comrades OC*) are welcome.

*There’s some potential for a Comrades OC weekend at a later date, though!

We’ll run three prompts each day: a mod-chosen location prompt, a simple prompt, and a situational prompt. The location prompt is basically a suggestion that you write a character from that location, or write the story in that setting, but you do not have to use the location in your prompt.

When: Assuming we manage to drag up enough interest and prompts to start voting in time, we’d like to run the week March 25 - April 1, 2018.

Who: Your 2 friendly mods: W and A. (This is W speaking. You might hear from me more on account of I like to hear myself talk.)

Where: Here and on AO3. We didn’t think we needed to say it, but damnit we had a theme going and we were going to follow through.

Now, consider this your formal invitation to start sending in simple and situational prompts! Please keep your prompts sfw/non-sexual. You can create whatever you want! We just want to make sure all prompts are open to everyone.

Please read the FAQ before asking any questions! If you ask a question we’ve already answered on the FAQ, we may simply point you toward it, depending on how many spoons we have/how much time we have left on break.

Aranea was at Tenebrae when we got there, helping refugees. Apparently she’s left the Empire. Not really sure how I feel about Noct asking her to look for Prompto.

And Iris called. It was nice to hear how the cats are doing, even if she has shitty timing.
