What Society Expect of Teachers as Professionals
T-enacious E-fficient A-ccountable C-reative H-ard-working E-ncouraging R-esponsible The standards of society especially when it comes to those educators are very high which includes being tenacious or to be persistent who posses the will to continue firmly working in spite of difficulty or opposition. A teacher should always be efficient so that the learners will learn better and accurately. Teachers should also be accountable and responsible whom the students can rely on. They should also be creative to have a better teaching environment. Ofcourse, educators were expected to be hard-working and encouraging so that they may serve as a role-model to their students.

"Pilipino Ako: Teacher Sabrina Ongkiko" "Discvering your life's true calling- Lou Sabrina Ongkiko" (Video Analysis) Teacher Sabrina Ongkiko once said that "The call has always been to love. When we strive to love, our purpose becomes clearer. We are more determined to address our context. We continue to hope and believe because we love, our country included" With that words I therefore conclude that my true calling was to also love. Not just the love we feel romantically but the love that drives me to do better to achieve my purpose. The love that makes us work harder no matter how difficult the situation gets. The true calling I have is to love not just the career i'm taking but also to spread that love to make our society better, to make my purpose in life clearer, and to give my future students obtain knowledege to achieve their dreams and to give back that love they received to for the betterment of our country.

Historical Development of Teaching as a Profession in the Philippines
Even before the colonizers made a big influence and changed our education system, Philippines already have our own way of learning. Our very first teachers was our parents and with them we we gain basic knowledge. Until the government established laws that promotes and protects our rights to freely obtain a proper education through professional institutions. By that, we now have access to general or compulsary education career path in which all subjects will have to be taught to students in kindergarten to grade six (which now become k-12 program). As the time passes, the education curriculum in our country develops. With that, we discover our whole potential and we bocome more globally competitive.

TEACHING AS A PROFESSION
The teaching profession plays a big part on our society specially on fulfilling all the elements of a profession for the reason that the field of teaching requires a great responsibility, accountability, and passion to help everyone see their full potential and to build a better and stronger foundation of our nation.
I think that professionalization is synonymous to professionalism in terms of doing a job that requires skills and special education that characterized a profession or a professional person.
That is why teaching requires long years of national professional education and continuing professional development after long, arduous initial professional education; thus all of this professional development matters to be and effective and efficient educator someday who value not just their given profession but stand firmly on fulfilling their vocation.

           IN CENTRAL LUZON STATE UNIVERSITY
I was looking for an institution where the Bachelor of Education is an Excellency before entering CLSU back then. Who would not want to learn form a university who caters the program we are interested in, right?
When I took the admission test I was so clueless with what the College of Education looks like and how the professors teaches here. Then the first semester started, for the very first time since I've first entered school to study I might say that this is the first university where my knowledge, skills, and abilities was tested from the first week and it motivated me to study better so that I won’t get left behind.
The College of Education in Central Luzon University also made me realize that I have the potential to teach if I would study harder. It also taught me to take my studies seriously because it is the first stepping stone I would take for me to achieve my goals and my dreams.
Having the opportunity to study in a University like this is both an honor and responsibility for giving me the chance to develop and train to be an effective and efficient elementary teacher someday.
Truly, in Central Luzon State University specially in the College of Education, learning is not just based on performance but also on how you obtain knowledge that would lasts for a long time.
