A couple sessions ago we retired Nox, the Vermling mindthief, from our Gloomhaven campaign. RIP Nox, I’m sorry your moveset was too fancy for our caveman party. Tiny character with very large weapon will still be a beloved aesthetic. He joins Chad Fixitfingers, the Quatryl tinkerer in the list of retired characters.

How often does your group play Gloomhaven? My group started at once a week, but as we got the hang of it, the urge to progress increased and we have some weeks playing 3-4 times. I'm afraid we are burning through too quickly. We have retired 3 characters in a month now, this is with a party of 6 players with 2 people rotating in and out to keep the party at 4.
That sounds great, to be able to play that much. We started out doing once a month and then upped it to every two weeks and have been mostly keeping to that schedule. We play after work, and single scenarios could last 4+ hours including set-up and pack up which is probably why we don't do it more frequent. We haven't retired any characters yet! (As you can see from the post history, but we are looking forward to cracking open some boxes!)
I say, there’s no such thing as burning through too quickly if you’re having fun! There’s an expansion on the way, community scenarios, and even a full standalone sequel in the works.
