Hey everyone it's been awhile!

Due to health reasons, there isn't going to be a year end work dump for this year. So for everyone that enjoys seeing things that I normally think of or don't finish through the year, I'm sorry to disappoint.

I've been trying to focus on my health this year versus last where I tried to fight and power through something that fought back. I wound up tired and exhausted so I wanted to take it easier this year. In doing so, I feel somewhat better. Unfortunately, more health things came up while the previous issue went away, so there was a trade off.

On top of that, I'm now having laptop issues so while I've been feeling better, writing is more of a struggle.

Overall, things aren't the greatest but it could be worse!

Not sure when I can fully make a return, but it'll probably be awhile, especially with my body still being a pain and my laptop kicking the bucket.

I hope everyone has been doing well over this past year and that the rest of it is great for you all!

A Hat in Time (let's face it just Subcon again) dump

Pic 1 - Just a concept for Snatcher after being brought back to life that I figured I'd share.

I wanted to be different instead of giving him the Snatcher hair shape for his hair like a lot of people, opting instead to put the shape into a cloak collar.

Pic 2 - This came to me at some point before bed when I was still thinking of Snatcher and Moonjumper's conflict in my story. Moonjumper has no idea about his backstory, but looking at the Prince, Hat Kid and anyone in her family, he feels an indescribable amount of range. So if he maybe remembered a brief piece of holding the Prince's body hostage in his past life, perhaps in this one he would believe Snatcher had stolen his life and memories.

Pic 3 and 4 - These go along with the song "Cannibal" by Citizen Soldier.

I actually drew these out near the peak of when the cist in my wrist limited me doing art and I am legit still surprised how well these turned out. Despite how uncomfortable the first image can be, for obvious reasons, I still like it and the second image a lot.

The first is pretty obvious for how we know Vanessa wasn't the greatest person to the Prince. The second might confuse people a bit. At the end of my story (that is being reworked a bit now), Vanessa is somewhat lifted of her curse because of Aura. Despite that negative aspect being essentially gone, it does not undo what she has done to everyone in Subcon and things are still tense between her and Snatcher, possibly leading to moments like this.

A Hat in Time OC art dump

Pic 1 and 2 - Still not finished with Aura's full reference, but thought I'd give a preview to those not on Art Fight of her new looks alive and dead.

The unfinished outfit for her alive sheet is her updated Nyakuza look because I was a bit unhappy with the idea I had of her before. This is definitely a more traditional route with a Yakuza themed thing, but I thought it fit her better than the style similar to what the kids wear.

I've mentioned I decided to go back to the original concept of Aura becoming a dragon after her Dweller form instead of the semi-humanoid ghost form I made for her, so here's a preview of the current look for that. I'm messing around with how the horns branch out, but I do like this right now.

Despite the previous form not being her canon look anymore, it still kind of exists in the AU where Aura is Subcon's ruler instead of Snatcher.

For those of you who don't know, the name she gave herself, Aura, was based on Ouroboros and I worked that motif into the Giant Subcon Dweller's history and personality. To expand beyond that, and I'm surprised I didn't think of it sooner and what would make me have chosen to stick with the dragon form, is to incorporate a bit of the concept of Níðhöggr in as well.

Pic 3 - You came to the wrong forest mother fricker.

Yes, the Grass Stomper is in my story now as well, having been the Florist in life.

Pic 4 - Halloween picture of Aura dressed as Brighid from Xenoblade Chronicles 2. Why Brighid? Well, Aura's voice claim is the same voice actress.

This was also going to have Snatcher dressed as Morag but never finished that on time. Also thought of an alternate version where Aura is Morag and Snatcher is Brighid too because Snatcher fits fairly well with Brighid color-wise (particularly the flame).

Pic 5 - Concept for Aura's followers, known as the Convey, in the Subcon Ruler AU.

Unlike Snatcher's Minions, these followers don't speak words, but you can hear a chime-like white noise escape them as they communicate. The Convey serve as guides, helping lost souls escape the cursed forest.

Pic 6 - This was born from the song "Torn Apart" by The Compromise.

After taking a chill pill and reflecting on everything, Moonjumper realizes he has many regrets, driving the Aramontresae to madness being one of them.

MediEvil thoughts

Pic 1 - This drawing goes with the song "Devil Inside" by Citizen soldier. Essentially the whole song fits Kesten in some way, but these lyrics here are what my brain stuck to for this image.

Pic 2 - Another OC for this game, but minor like Richenza in a sense. This is Tede, nicknamed Teddy, Orell's adoptive daughter.

Tede descends from two generations of slaves that worked for Orell's father back in Gibbredene, having been freed of the burden once they were given to Orell. Despite the freedom, the then unborn girl's mother decided to stick with Orell and help with anything he needed. The woman gave birth to Tede prior to their relocation to Gallowmere and died two years after, leaving the child in her grandmother's care. To alleviate the almost crippled woman, Orell took a more active role in helping care for the young girl and would often watch after her when not on knight duty. This meant Tede grew up helping Orell in his bakery that she would later inherit after his disappearance.

Part of me wanted to make her a sibling to Orell but perhaps his blood family has enough strain as is with his father siring him.

Star Wars (mostly OC) dump

Pic 1 - I'm not posting this by itself because that's just sad leaving Nihilus alone without other pure Star Wars character things.

Drew this because my brain was like "Ok, where's KOTOR 2?" after the announcement of KOTOR 1 being remade. So here's Nihilus waiting for his turn patiently.

Pic 2 - Fun fact for a friend who might read this: This was the first drawing I did for General Grievous, not that one that I posted earlier in the year involving Lego Star Wars shenanigans.

Grievous is a dad to a baby dragon now, I'm sorry I don't make the rules. Ok, I do because my story and AU, but whatever.

They actually never meet on friendly terms despite some of his matter makeup being part of Dar-Jee Dal, so this was to make me happy and let him have the time he never got with the boy as a baby.

Pic 3 - Just a concept for my Sun Dragon, Solaren. If they ever reveal how these things look in-universe, she'll be changed, but for now, she'll look similar to this.

Solaren becomes Dar-Jee Dal's mate later on in life.

If I remember correctly, I made her for the intent of my self-insert thing for the original trilogy since I liked what I read on their Wookieepedia page and wanted to throw another middle finger at Palpatine. Get cucked by a figurative AND literal Sun Dragon. Then the remainder of the Empire will feel the wrath of hers and Dar-Jee Dal's son during the timeline of the Mandalorian.

For the prequel trilogy self-insert, she has more of a prominent role and was introduced to Dar-Jee Dal when they were hatchlings, so thus why I tried to think of a look for her as a young dragon as well. Yes, she will cuck Palpatine in more than one timeline, it is law.

Flight Rising dump

Pic 1 - I was drawing this to add to my dragon, Octyde's, bio as I was planning to sell him since I figured I was keeping enough Christmas dragons from last year in my lair. I stopped because I lost motivation plus I fell in love and decided to keep him.

I have some of my OC's as dragons on Flight Rising and decided to do a cute interaction picture with some of them. It's mostly Aura, Helios, and Neo giving appreciation to Crevice since he's the very first dragon OC of mine. Grandpa dragon deserves it.

Self inset dump

Pic 1 - For anyone that knows me, yeah, you know I love the Yiga clan since they're a buncha dorks, and Hyrule Warriors Age of Calamity re-awakened that love for them.

This incarnation (well, assuming this is a different Kohga in the line of Master Kohga's) seems pretty relatable to me, minus some obvious things, so I latched onto him quickly. There is a mini-war between ourselves if Apples or Banana's are the greatest delicacy of all time.

Pic 2 - Was gonna be my celebration picture for the 25th anniversary of Pokémon but in the style of that Bump of Chicken music video. When the video for that released it made me cry from how hard the nostalgia and love of this series hit me, so I thought it'd be nice to maybe incorporate it in here.

Pic 3 - Darth Nihilus is one of the many new Star Wars characters I latched onto this year and I do see this ghost man as a friend. I saw these hoodies and couldn't help myself drawing him and me in em.

Pic 4 - Lowkey emizel's fault since Deltarune Chapter 2 dropped, but just me as a human or a monster since I can't decide.

Pic 5 - I know I constantly say I have the dragon form for my handle in the works and have yet to show it, so I figured I'd show a preview since my indecisive butt finally settled on a horn and mask design. Why I'm not done yet is because I need to figure out how the rest of the fluff for the body will look like plus how I'll do a front view of the horns (the latter being the biggest reason I am still not done. LOVE these horns but front/three-quarter view is annoying me).

Beginning of the year end work dump, 2021 edition.

Hey, guess what, my writing makes a return! Since I do write from time to time, I might as well include it here despite how nervous I get.

I think that I'll always start off these year end things with writing now since I tend not to do as much of that as drawing. Plus, it's easier to group together.

As a warning: Most stories are not edited, completed or planned to be completed, have weird placeholder titles, and some were either quick ideas I wanted to get down or just got really into.

Flufftober 2021

What's this? Well, for October, I thought about participating in Flufftober 2021, but the second half of this year has been killer on me so that got shot. I at least had some ideas down for this. I also don't have every prompt I wanted to do written out enough where I'd be willing to post it.

This series of writing is planned on being completed anyhow, so I'll post them all at some point, either all at once or spaced out, not sure.

Day 5 Watching the Sunrise Fandom: Star Wars Pairing: Qymaen jai Sheelal x Seer (OC) Word Count: 1,066 Warnings: None

YEAH, I MADE A FRICKING HUMANOID DRAGON RACE (to no one's surprise) FOR STAR WARS. I ALSO (somewhat) PAIRED ONE OF EM WITH GRIEVOUS, EVEN BEFORE HE BECAME A CYBORG.

This fic is a little... awkward. This is one of those ones where I kinda just went zip-zoom through to get the ideas down, I just have to go back and add the fluff between them so it's not so weird.

Anyway, minor info for my Priest/Seer: Her race is called Desdrada and they're shut off from the galaxy of their own volition, believing it is safer for them to do so. They also want as little to do with the galaxy to protect their companions, the Minema (dragon race I created), and give them the peace the Sith over a millennia ago refused to let them have. So, no one exactly knows what's going on in the outside world, minus the Seer's/Priests that have foresight. Of course, knowledge is limited that way, so that's when this Priest is allowed to be the only one to leave their home to venture out and see what's really going on outside.

Day 7 Meddling Friends Fandom: A Hat in Time Pairing: The Snatcher/The Prince x Aura (OC) Word Count: 1,094 Warnings: Mentions of death

It's been how many years and I still don't know how I'm gonna pair Snatcher and Aura? Yup. Honestly, it would probably have to be a combined effort anyhow considering Aura doesn't know the first thing about romance or when being flirted with and everything just goes over her head. Because of her set engagement at a young age that she took seriously, she practically grew up Ace and needs to break that mindset.

Snatcher has many headaches that like to show up and he can't ever get rid of all of them. It's worse when they start speaking and getting into his affairs.

I have no idea how this fic is gonna turn out and this might be one of the two ideas I'll abandon, but we'll see.

Day 22 Flirting at Work Fandom: MediEvil (Modern-ish AU) Pairing: Orell Lashier/Kesten (OC) x Hildegard (OC) Word Count: 1,756 Warnings: Mentions of severe medical condition

*checks the word count, notes on what to put in later, and looks at my previous writings* Yeah, I think this is gonna be another long one lmao. WHY CAN'T I EVER DO A SHORT THING FOR THESE TWO!? I coulda just been like "Orell slipped and fell into Hilda's arms and had to be cheesy about it like normal then she proceeds to drop him" but nope. ANGST THEN FLIRT WITH 4K+ WORDS (that's my estimate right now let's see how close I get).

As I've stated, there's angst then it will get to the flirt. On one hand, I'm kinda cackling thinking about it, on the other hand, I wanna be like "Liiiin, is this oooook? Es not too bad, right?". I always get self-conscious with writing certain romantic things and I'm honestly afraid that it might be uncomfortable or seem as sexual to others. It's worse when it comes to CERTAIN characters (I am eyeing the shiz out of Ravenhooves and Dan's personality while alive).

Anyways, Orell is a mess and gets himself into bigger messes which then makes everyone worry. He'll be fine, probably. At least he'll have Hilda and Teddy there for him.

Day 20 Secret Crush Fandom: Star Wars Pairing: Darth Nihilus x Gender Neutral Reader This was actually the first idea I had for the reader insert and will take some inspiration from my own self-insert thing.

Day 30 Fall asleep on my lap Fandom: A Hat in Time Pairings: None, this is a platonic fic. This is just gonna be Aura with her new dragon form just being a mom towards Julia and all the munchkins.

I just like making myself sad it seems, but despite how short this is, it's essentially done, just not edited. A small insight into the Hedge Griffin's mind.

Self Insert hours

Yes, I continue to be self-shipping trash. All of these are Star Wars too I just noticed lmao, so there's that warning. I've had nothing but General Grievous brain rot this year and never really did right down Mandalorian shenanigans.

As an overall note: I stopped writing these because once I saw a fanfic on Ao3 that also involved a self-insert Seer, I got self-conscious and closed up shop because of that fear of stealing an idea even if I had no clue it existed. True, I would not have posted these anywhere but Toyhouse if I did decide to share, but still. There are definitely differences between my ideas and that authors, but I still felt the self-consciousness kick in. For anyone curious, their fic is called "What's a fan doing in Star Wars?"

Despite my halt on writing these, still developed ideas, so a lot of these are no longer accurate in some parts more than others.

Battle for Kamino Word Count: 1,818 Warnings: Violence and Spinal Injury

Brief moment of when General Grievous and Ventress invaded Kamino to steal the DNA of Jango.

When I was reacquainting myself with the Clone Wars series, my mind stuck on this episode particularly for a reveal that the person who he recognized as his enemy was once Grievous's friend. My change to this is now after the Mortis Arc, but some of this is still relevant (aka, bone snapping).

Eggscavation Word Count: 6,463 Warnings: Mild Violence

This story shifts perspectives and is meant to do so often between mine and General Grievous's, but definitely has some moments with the Battle Droids (and would have with Atacon as well).

Let's invade a ship to save an unhatched dragon while simultaneously ticking off the cyborg. Nothing can go wrong (I didn't get to the fighting between him and the Jedi though so none of that actually).

Who's this Everon though? Well, that's actually Darth Nihilus, having given up his Sith title. In my mind, with him being dead, his hunger for the force wouldn't need to be satiated and he'd actually be pretty chill. He becomes further chill once he's shown friendship and actually is given a choice on what's done to him since being stuck in his holocron.

Gay Agenda Word Count: 2,058 Warnings: Mention of severe health condition due to trauma

I'M SORRY IF THE TITLE OFFENDS ANYONE BUT LIKE MY BRAIN JUST WENT OFF ON AN "Oh yeah, I guess I got one of those" AFTER I SAW THIS PATCH. I don't know why my brain latches onto certain things, I can't even.

Crossing the streams here because for my self insert thing in the Sequel Trilogy Era, Plo-Koon is not around and it's still too fricking early for Phasma to be brought in, so they're the only off ones.

I really don't know what to say for this writing other than there was gonna be usage of the planner to divide time up between the characters in this fic. The Line up would have been this:

Kind of just a small interaction I thought of that could have happened before the start of the place of the Mandalorian. Mostly did it to remind me that Dar-Jee Dal has a son in this timeline and that'd he'd show up at the end of Season 1 of the Mandalorian.

Dar-Jee Dal is technically my and Grievous's son while Ethenol is our Grandson.

To briefly explain why Grievous is alive and not made of metal, that would do with the Kaleesh gods. I thought about how in Legends canon he'd go to them and beg to see Ronderu one last time and deny him but then wondered in a "what if" they were like "Lol, so how about this" and shove him back out of the either to suffer without her again. Ok, that just came to mind, but I thought it'd be interesting if they did give him the second chance anyway for some reason.
