Piper stayed quiet, she was nervous, could you blame her? As the doors finally opened again, she spoke. “My place may be a bit messy, I’m a teacher,” she wanted to give him a fair warning to the bomb that went off in her place, papers that needed to be graded, empty coffee mugs. Leading him to her door, she let go of his hand only to put a key in the lock, opening the door. “After you,” a smug smile could be seen as she invited him in.
Well that’s terrifying to him. As long as it doesn’t break, please don’t break. “Sounds good.” He doesn’t realize he’s still holding her hand until he walks in sync with her inside the elevator and watches the doors close.

He smiles and takes her hand. “Well I’ll be glad ta walk wit’ yeh. It is a nice night fer a walk anyways.”
Leading the man back to her apartment building, the girl’s mind couldn’t stop racing, she was like a school girl excited about her crush, it was stupid, she thought it was stupid. One they got to the main doors, she moved to grab her keys and opening it.
“I live on the third floor, so luckily there’s an elevator,” usually she would take the stares, but she didn’t want the man to catch onto her unhealthy habits--so she lead him to the elevator, pressing the button, as they waited, she didn’t let go of his hand, Piper found something comforting in him.
Once the elevator opened, she walked inside it, pressing the number three, smiling as the doors of the elevator closed.

“Well in that case,” placing the phone in her pocket, the girl held her hand out for him to take, “I was going to take the buss to the store, but I think I’d rather walk with you to my apartment, its just over there,” she motioned to the apartment building a few feet away, lips curling into a smile.

“Do you live around here? Would you like to go back to my place to have a few drinks?”

The young woman was out for a jog, something she didn’t do often. She usually spent her time inside with her cat when she wasn’t at work. Her excuse was that she needed to lose weight, but the blonde was well below normal. Noticing boxes and an open door, the girl stood at the edge of the sidewalk, watching as a man walked out. Piper pulled out her earbuds when he approached her, a smile forming across makeup-less, lips, sweat beading down her forehead and neck.
“No worries!” finally, another awkward person on the block, the girl could sense a friendship blooming. Taking his hand in her’s she nodded, “I’m Piper. Piper Ford, I teach the first grade class at the nearby elementary school,” she could go on all day about how much she loved her job, heck, it was her life. “I see you chose this residence, it’s nice, to bad its haunted~”
{dream daddy verse open}
Unpacking had to be the bane of the professor’s existence. ( so many boxes! ) Shuffling inside the moving van to get the box of fragile laboratory equipment, he paused, taking a moment to examine the cul-de-sac. It was peaceful – something he was very happy about. After a moment, he made his way in the house, happy to set the box down on his table. Upon leaving to retrieve more boxes, he noticed someone standing by the edge of his yard. Perhaps it would be a good idea to introduce himself.
“Oh, hello! I-It’s very nice to meet you, I’m just moving in. I mean – it’s a little obvious that I’m moving in, sorry.” Holding out his hand for the stranger to shake, he offered a nervous smile. Nice one, Phillip.

Piper watched as the man broke though the drywall, flinching, she wasn’t one for violence of any kind, and seeing him like this broke her heart.
“Jay,” her voice was soft, hesitant to place her hand on his shoulder, knowing that he could get more upset and hurt her--but Pip would take the chance, her small hand pressing on his shoulder as she looked at him with concerned eyes. “You need to calm down, love.”
Rage. Pure, ungodly rage was what was coursing through Jay’s body at the moment. The urge to completely and utterly annihilate something burned. His muscles ached with the tension he felt. His blue eyes held a fire behind them. Letting out a mighty scream of anger, he punched through a wall. This feat was not normally capable of him untransformed, but this fury that ran through was causing his body to produce more and more adrenaline than usual.
“No…more…”
#hope it was ok i replied!!!#idk if we're gunna do a pre set relationship/friendship? its up to you !!

“Thanks,” she mumbled as she huffed in the smoke, soon letting it go out of her nose as she looked down at her phone, moth hands on the mobile device as she continued to puff at the cancer stick in her mouth.
Pulling up the contacts app, she moved her hand out to give him the phone, the screen displaying the “ADD CONTACT” page as her other hand moved to taking the smoke out of her lips, flicking it.
“I’ve been lookin’ everywhere for your number, and I think I just found it.” wink.
“Yer welcome fer ta compliment.” He says as he grabs the lighter from his pocket and lights her cigarette. He doesn’t want to expose himself by lighting his finger on fire to help her out

The woman’s cheeks turned red before she looked back towards the street--the buss would arrive at any minute. “Thanks for the complement?” she questioned before pulling out a pack of cigarettes, brining one up to her lips.
“You got a light, darling? I guess someone BIC’ed me.”
“Why t'ank yeh youn’ blonde and beautiful.” He gives his usual charming smile. “I lifted cars and ot'er people but never weights. Too borin’ and expected.”

“Me? I’m a first grade teacher,” the woman nodded a bit before pulling her beer bottle up to her lips; no fancy drinks for this one.
“I love my job; I get summers off and weekends!” pause, “What do you do for a living?”

“Me? Well I like ta run from t’in’s and I don’t do traditional work out.” He smirks at her. “Why? Yeh like my body?” He winks
“Maybe,” the girl admitted before shrugging, flashing the man with a white toothed smile.
“I think your tattoos really tie it all together though,” pause, “have you ever considered lifting weights?”

@domiiniicrenner ;; starter
Piper flinched, holding the gun up towards the target. Her small hands gripping over the object as a finger rested on the trigger.
Looking over towards the man, her hands shake. “I don’t think I can do this,” she never liked guns, even before the outbreak, and the thought of killing something made her feel sick. In the back of her mind she remembered the little kids she couldn’t defend from the infected, pushing them into a class room and locking the door. She killed them. She said she’d be right back, maybe if she used the gun in her desk she could’ve saved them. Ten first graders dead because of her, how could she forgive herself? Pip looked back at the target, but what she saw wasn’t a piece of wood coloured red with a bullseye, she saw a little kid, one she had to beat over the head with a chair--she couldn’t see anything else. She saw the little girl, dead, infected-- the woman shook her head before letting her hands fall to her side, the gun resting on her thigh.
“I can’t do this,” she repeated.
