Hi! I was wondering if it was possible to participate in this zine anonymously (and leave my work uncredited in the final product). If not, then no worries; still excited all the same for the zine!!

It is possible but you will need to at least apply with the necessary information so we can make sure of specific guidelines. We can always discuss details as well after the application process. The application itself also has a comment area where you can put the anonymous request :) thank you for asking!

Hello! I'm thinking about participating with a fiction, but my first language is not English and, so far, I only have 1 fiction posted on ao3 in English. I usually write in my mother tongue (Italian). I'm only concerned because in the application form it said to send over at least 3 links to previous works. What should I do? Thank you in advance and thank you for setting up this project!

Hello! You can definitely add whichever fic you have in your mother language and in English if you wish in your application! The plan is to have an all inclusive zine. The project can include your piece in your original language and a rough translation into English if you prefer to write in a different language. I hope this helps you!

After applications, how long are works able to be submitted for? Or does it have to be during the application time frame?

After applications and results, creators will receive an email with detailed information about submissions and schedule (is it possible to check the general schedule in gm20012021.tumblr.com/schedule). Creators will have from July 15 to December 15 to submit, with a few dates marked for a check on progress.

Hello! I'm so excited to learn the news! I want to ask whether minor languages works be included? If not, will translation be permitted? Also, how can I get a copy of the zine when it comes out? Thx!

Hi there! Excellent question. The default language for fanfics is English, but creations in other languages will be accepted and published with a translation to English side by side. We can provide proofreading in English, Spanish and Portuguese. That said, texts must be in 250 or 500 words for poetry, and 1000 or 3000 words for narrative, and if you want to submit a text in other language (what demands going with translation), you'll have to use one of these word counts to cover both languages - so I suggest to pick the 3000 word count and use 1500 words for original language and the other half for translation. Related to this: fanfics for the project must be new ones. The publication will be online only, since it's a non-profit project. Thank you so much for your interest and we hope to clear your doubts! Hi! We are accepting all forms of cosplay as long as it is SFW. Whether it is done professionally or not is up to you but it is not a requirement for this project!
