I'm late to the Pet Head Canon thing but I have one. I believe Ana has an Egyptian Mau or a Sphinx because of the idea of Cats guarding the underworld and that's how she's cheated death for so long.

Osiris tried to take Ana, but sent her back with a cat as an apology.
