i've been having a bit if a linux crisis of faith lately. it seems like the more i learn about differwnt distros, the less different they are. like, guix and nix are in the realm of most unique, but even then, nix and guix package managers are able to be ported into any other distro useably. whats the point? whats it all mean? its all a list of default boxes that are either ticked or unticked. im switching to a source based distro like gentoo i think. something meaningfully different. maybe source mage! then i can have all new issues and become jaded once again
